It's the "Nigerian 419" scam. Just Google for this:
888-895-3105 Nigerian
And you can read all the details. The phone number is actually listed on the site. Don't bother calling.

Oh, nice, thanks for checking that out with a public phone! They ask for contact information - as if they don't already apparently have your e-mail! It's just SO FISHY I can't imagine why they think anyone will actually contact them.
Do you mean there is no removal option thing in the e-mail? Yes. I think they are using a "shotgun" approach - shooting out e-mails to every existing address they can find out, and just hoping a few "fish" will "bite." I hope they aren't scamming people. I also hope they don't keep e-mailing the same address repeatedly!

I just got another one, but with the number 800-607-1898. I am a little too busy to try to do something about this. At least it's relatively polite.

I received the same email from Andrea too. I tried calling this from a public phone to get the details. The lady states that I need to leave contact information only if I am serious about making $XX,XXX per week. Sounded very fishy to me. There is do disclaimer to be removed from any mailing list.

I got the same email, but from a different sender
From: "Andrea Wilkerson" <okngzz@staples.com>
I hate to be the bearer of bad news but if you
are not making at least $1500 or more per week
from your own place then you haven't listened to
my message yet so shame on you...but you can make
a wrong right by giving me 2 minutes of your time.
This is so easy is crazy. As long as you have a phone
you too can do this. Best of all..
No Selling
No Cold Calls
No trying to recruit your friends and family.
So quit wasting precious time and call to listen.

I have received this e-mail twice. I have no idea how the sender got my address. This is the text of the e-mail:

To: [my e-mail address and four others with the same domain name as mine]

It seems suspicious to me that the e-mail doesn't detail what kind of work it is (it sounds like calling people, possibly to advertise). Also, I did not receive it from the same sender as Phyllis above, which means it's either an unscrupulous company (multiple employees sending e-mails) or a scam (scammers often create new e-mail addresses to spam people like this without getting caught). I do not see how the sender benefits from soliciting me in this way, which makes me trust it even less.
I have not responded to the e-mail because I am pretty sure that would invite more e-mails. I do not plan to call the number with my own phone - I would like to try it on a pay phone, though. I am not interested in doing whatever job it is, but I would like to see the sender get busted for this unwanted solicitation!
