Calls 15 times a day - leaves no message and you cant call them back.

I WANT THIS  NUMBER TO STOP CALLING!!!!!

888-895-5221 calls repeatedly.  I am on no call list to no avail.

calls start early AM till 10Pm at least 8 a day no mess. no ans.

Whenever I see this number, I try to pick up as soon as I can.  Not because I wish to talk to them, but because if I do, it costs them money for a completed call.

I have received the same calls, rings twice and hangs up.  This is 4/23/14, what can be done?

This number calls every day.  today I answered, a female said "is this --?"  Knew my first & last name.  I said "yes, this is she."  She hung up.  I called the number back & got a recording saying "this # is unallocated."

5 phone calls between 11:30 am and 7 pm.  Nobody on other end of line.  Reported 888-895-5221 to FCC and Do Not Call registry.  So incredibly annoying!

I work for the phone company.  I KNOW your telephone number is not sold to anyone.  Did you register your new number on the FTC's Do Not Call list?  Until you do, you may be bombarded with telemarketing calls.  While not perfect, it does cut down on many unwanted calls.  Then report violating telemarketers to the FTC.  Scammers, such as the Jamaicans, certainly don't care about laws or lists.  The 'grandparent' scam is the same.  Both are able to target older people.  There is much information about all of us readily available online. Google your own name - you might just find a map right to your house.  My personal advice is to resist talking to scammers, don't argue, don't threaten them - it just encourages them or makes them want to bug you even more.

Just called the number because of a complaint we received in our office.  Century Link seems to have a problem with their auto dialer.  They have been informed of these nuisance calls and hopefully they will decrease.

Calls around 8-10 times a day. Rings about 3 times then hangs up. Never rings long enough for the answering machine to pick up. This is so annoying. I am on the do not call list. I want this to stop.

Calls ALL DAY....soooooo tired of them calling me...

This number has been calling my home for about a month now sometimes 2-3 times a day.  If we are home it never rings but 1-2 times then they hang up.  We never answer before they hang up.  I have heard they just want someone to return the call and they somehow can get your information.  How can we stop this????

Same as others. Calls some in several times a day, beginning around 8:00 A.M. Never anyone there or they hang up before it can be answered. Very disgusting!

I knew it! Since day One of becoming a new centurylink customer
we've been getting Scam calls from all over the country
including Jamaica.

they call 4-5 times a day and never talk. my phone rings 2-3 times then stops. i tried calling the number back, but get 'the number you are calling cannot be connected as dialed'

I stayed on the line long enough to speak to someone. They told me Centurylink, yes the phone company, sold them my contact info. I have been on the DNC list. I'm in talks with centurylink over this unauthorized release.

This phone number has been calling multiple times a day for a couple of weeks. When I would answer and say 'hello' it would hang up. Finally, today, I didn't say anything when I picked it up and about 5 seconds later a man comes on the line and asks to speak to me, by name. He said he was from CenturyLink (my home phone/internet provider) and wanted to go over my services with me to make sure I was getting the best deal. Out of curiosity, I stayed on the line (knowing full well I wasn't going to give him any information...obviously). He asked me to verify the second contact number on the account and he rambled off a phone number we had years ago. I know for a fact that CenturyLink has my home phone and my cell phone, and there would be no reason they would have that old phone number. At that point I knew it wasn't CenturyLink, so I ended the conversation. If this number calls you don't give them any information!

These people call at all hours 4-8 times a day.  Never leave a message.  No answer when you call back,  My wife and I are tired of it.

this number has been calling several times a day for over a week. the phone rings three times and then goes dead. This is bordering on harassment.

This number keeps calling 6-7 times a day and hangs up if you click on it.  Annoying

I've been receiving calls from 1-888-895-5221 same as others here. I've spent some time searching online and have read numerous reports and blog entries, and it seems that it is a number used by scammers. If someone does talk, they say they are from Centurylink, or InsuranceQuotes, different names, all cheating or trying to cheat the one that they talk to. I've filed a complaint with the FCC. If everyone does that, maybe they will do something about it.

I will be reporting this number. If they call my house they get 5,000- 10,000 fine where I live. If I put them on a no call list. They started call when I called on some ad on craiglist and left my # for the people to call back on a car that was suppose to be for sale. But. no one called back two days later this # started calling me.

Like everyone else, get calls all hours of the day and it rings twice and stops. Don't know who it is but if I ever get the chance to pick up before they hang up, they will get a good cussing out. Somebody do something about the scumbags.
