I just received a call from this number about an internet filing where I actually bought a disk for 1.88 about 2 weeks ago. the money has been taken from my account but have not seen the disk. Now today they call about the grant money but I refused to give any information over the phone. When I suggested turning over this to the attorney general they hung up on me.

Telemarketing call from a middle eastern speaking person offering me the "free government grants I asked for".  I asked to be removed from the mailing list and the person told me that it was complicated to do.  I then asked for the name of the company he worked for because I wanted to report them because by law they have to abide by my request.  After several minutes of arguing with this person, he blurted out the name "Immediate Grants" and rattled off some numbers really fast and then hung up.  Fortunately I have call ID on my cell phone and 800-338-7537 was the number.  The number reflects a hosting company.

The same thing happened to me that happened to Kevin above.  I bought a CD for $2.10 to apply for grants.  I only did it a few days ago, so I haven't received the CD yet.  This morning, I got a call from a Tim Matthews who told me about 3 grants I qualified for.  He said he could send the packet out to me for free, but I had to pay for the shipping costs which were $3.98.  I told him I was leary about giving out my credit card number, so he spouted out all these "official" phone numbers I could use to check back to make me feel more comfortable.  The phone number to reach him was 1-888-584-0883.  (Please check this number out as well. I did!).  During our conversation, we got disconnected, so I called the number back that he gave me.  A woman answered as if she was at home and not at a business.  When I asked for Tim Matthews, she put me on hold, got back on the phone and asked what issues I had.  I told her I was talking to Tim Matthews and we got disconnected.  She put me on hold again, came back on the phone and stated that I was interested in getting a grant and she would be the one helping me from now on and then proceeded to say she could send me a packet with the information I needed for free, but I would have to pay the $1.08 shipping and handling charges.  Now, how did it go from $3.97 to $1.08 from the same company?  Total scam.  Glad I stuck by my gut instincts and didn't give them a cent more than the $2.10 I probably lost for a bogus CD I ordered.

I am being bombarded with calls from this number.  No messages are left and when you attempt to call this number no company is indentified and you get a strange male voice saying "Stay on the line someone will be with you shortly".  Within 5 minutes after that message the line goes dead.

Finally got a 'live voice' to respond when I answered the phone.  Said it was a company "Auction to Riches" about selling on ebay - that someone from this number had inquired about information - WRONG - told them they were lying and to not call back as on dnc list.  Next time, WHISTLE

am sick of all the hang up call I have been getting for days now.

Been getting a lot of calls from this number, but no one is on the line when I answer.  Is there anyway of stopping them from calling?  Anyone we can complain to?  I guess after reading other's experiences with this no., I can consider myself lucky!

They just called again this morning, and actually asked for me by name (very disturbing.)  I loudly and angrily asked "Who is this?"  I could not understand the girl who called as she had a very heavy foreign accent. But before asking her to repeat herself, I again loudly and firmly told her to take my number off their calling list and to never call here again!! Then I hung up!  I'll keep you posted as to whether or not they continue to call, because I fully expect them to!

This is the 4th call I've gotten from this number - they will not identify themselves and ask for a person that is not at this phone number and that I do not know. When I tell them there is no one at this number by that name and ask them to stop calling they hang up. I am on the national Do Not Call registry and would like this call to be stopped.

I have been receiveing a lot of calls from this number. They asked my wife for her credit card number for a government grant. The first time I answered they asked for my wife by first name only. Now they call 3-4 times a day and when I answer it they always hang up. Caller ID shows up as 800 SERVICE. 888-899-9518

Receive calls repeatedly.  Seeing the number of similar reports indicated this is a waste of time.

Receive about two calls a day on my cell from this number or ones similar. Like everyone else, no message. I have called them back and told them to remove my number...The first call of today was telling me that I had asked for weight loss info on the internet...I weigh 110 pounds, don't have a weight issue and asked them remove me. They just called again and I called back 5 times. You can hear them answer, music in the background but then a hang-up. I finally got through told them to remove again, gave them my number and they now want my name. Nothing about grants or any other info offered. Couldn't understand what the name of the company was but a foreigner. Googled and found the same info as listed here. Tried their website and under the contact us, received a funny message (The Google maps API server rejected your request. This could be because the API key used on this site was registered for a different web site. You can generate a new key for this web site at http://code.google.com/spis/maps/.) Sorry this is so long, but if you go to the Just Hope website you might try emailing them directly. They are a HOST company located in England. It might be them or a company that uses them to host a website or phone number...need to do further research.

They call everyday more then once a day, and when we pick up they hang up. They don't even bother trying to sell us anything or even speak to us. Just call and hang up call and hang up every time we answer it drives us nuts!!

This number has shown up on caller id for the last month and no one is EVER at the other end when the phone is answered.  It is to the point that I have called the phone company to file an unwanted phone call complaint.  I will have to see what they are able to do, 'cause I am not having much luck.

This number called me this morning at 8AM,and left no message.  When I tried to call the number back, I received a message that the call was very important to them, and for me to continue to hold.  After about 2 minutes, it hung up.  This happened twice.  I've blocked this number from calling again.

Until we ALL start reporting the numbers that hang up or give you some stupid record to the "DO NOT CALL" list. nothing will be done.  I try to report every one I get that does not answer or is a recording.  There has to be some sort of regulation to make this illegal.

When I got a call from this number, it was a recording that left a voicemail and it was about an extended car warranty and that it was my final call. My extended warranty has been up for over a year now.
They just call and call and at the end of the recording you can press a number to talk to a rep. and then it hangs up on you.

This organization is definitely up to no good.  I received an anonymous call from them this evening.  I found it matched  "Just Host" web hosting business.  I called them and the representative had a strong mid-eastern accent.  I told her that I couldn't hear her and that she would have to speak up.  She hung up.  I called again and got another person who said that she had called my number looking for someone other than me.  I told her to remove my number from her call list.  She hung up.  Definitely a scam of some kind.  I'm going to report them to the donotcall.gov site and I hope you all do the same.

This number has called my cell phone at least four times in the last week. Something about government grants, and when I ask to be taken off their call list, they hang up. I called back and a woman answered hello, and then stated that her grandson had got her phone? Asked to speak with a supervisor but never got anyone.

I just tried e-mailing them asking them to take me off their list...the e-mail is invalid...so I tried calling them, and I heard hold music for like 10 min!! Does anyone know how to report them??
