An individual called and left a message saying he was an independent locator for a company who had filed a claim against me.

Look absolutely nothing will happen to you if you donot pay your payday loan, its a story, a script. They have a team of lawyers who are constantly diverting law suits. The best thing to do is to get one of the collectors heated so they go off script, thats when you need to be recording. They are currently being investigated, nyself as well as 3 previous employees submitted sworn statements to the attorney generals office. Its just a matter of time. If you really want to piss them off, get a pre paid credit card, set up a  pymt arrangement then flake out on it, that will mess up there bounce out rate

Look, technically it is legal collecting on your debts. What is not legal is the tactics in which they use. There are scripts for eveey aspect of the collection process. The low down. A good way to get back at them is to call the payday loan company and complain about harrasment from collectors, they will call him and complain, get them to say words like, sherriff, warrant, process server, arrest, jail, federal Marshall etc., and get it on tape, they say you have to have permission to record but thats not true. Call the police, fbi, bbc,bbb and complain complain they use skip tracing tools like accurant, lexus nexus, cbc. They can type in a address, social, name or phone and find most all of your info.number complain. Go there ansd see and the code for the bathroom is 135. Jimmy smith called my job today stating he was a private locator and was coming to my job to serve me papers. I called global and after a few attempts I was able to get someone on the phone.they couldn't tell me anything except that mass street group hirrd them. They are charging me $200 for them hiring a private locator. Lol I'm waiting to see if jimmy shows up, because if he doesn't have proper paperwork heis getting thrown out on his butt.

I received a call at work stating that they needed to talk to someone that could give them some information on how to locate me so that they can come and arrest me at work for allegations that they have against me i got scared and paid one paymnet now i am questioning if this is a scam i will be calling the number today to tell them to email me the information for me to show to my attorney.

Same guy and same thing happened to me. I said I was recording the call and giving to the sheriff they didn't like it!

Been harrassing me for past 2 days, got 15 calls in past 2 days both at work & my cell phone. Have saved all the voicemail messages from a Terry W who is using a NYC cell phone number (that when you call it back says it cannot accept messages) & says he has papers to serve me. I called the 888 number & told them to send me something in writing to the bill I "owe" & couldn't get a straight answer from "Alexis @ Global" I ended up hanging up when she wouldn't follow through with what I was asking, was even going to give her a fax number to send it to. Well so much with working with you, makes me see SCAM all over it...

Got a call from this number saying the exact same thing.
No clue who they are, what claim is allegedly against me, etc.

They have now called ten times, I have spoken with the local sheriff depertment.  My next step is to advise them this call is recordered and conference in the non-emergency dispatch line.  How much do you want to bet they will hang up.

Says they are a locater service, but will not give a name number or anything else, blasted them about being scam artists and got no response other then, we are a locator service and are coming to serve you.  Please come serve me.  At this point I am no longer speaking to anyone there.

Same thing, they are rude and trying to intimadate you by speaking to your coworkers and boss.  Completely out of control.  I guess we will see if he actually comes down and serves me today.  I have two hours to pay this by calling a number 8889014938.  Ill just see if they serve me.  Highly doubt it,  no locator is going to care whether you pay off your debt or not. I'm guessing major scam.  Have also searched other posts about this company "Global" everyone else says the same thing.

Got a call from Bob Johnson today who said he had a claim number and order in his office today and needed an address to serve papers at my residence and place of employment about charges and a claim against me and i had 1 chance to call the  Firm handeling the claim at 888-901-4938. Then said i have officially been notified.

Patrick Stern also wants to serve my employee with papers, give him your address and have him arrested for
trespassing. In New York you have to be a licensed process server, not a locator

Got a phone call from this number today.  The guy named "Jimmy Smith" claimed to be a private locator for a company called Global.  He was persistent about getting my address to serve me with documents, but wouldn't offer any detailed information.  He proceeded to give a number to "Global" for me to call.  I called the number and got an automated system at "Global" and was disconnected.  After this, the SOB called me all day long at least 6 times harrassing me until I called my cell provider and blocked the number.

I just got a call from this # sting that i was being sereved papers at my work, from a david thompson   i do not  i do not know these people.
