Sounds nice until I ask for the name of the company and all I got was Client Document Intake center.  This was a mail out promising payment reduction help. They want financial info to send to the underwriters to determine what type of "help" we qualify for.  After not getting  any company name, I searched the number and found the complaint above.  It is going in the trash.

I received a solicitation - based upon information they apparently gleaned from so very old mortgage records... the original servicer of my mortgage who is no longer the servicer and ceased to exist in 2005.
I asked pointed and direct questions regarding their service.  After one has sent them all information they state they require, then you'll be required to send them "a retainer" (their words) of $3500-$5000 so that "our attorneys can have a look over everything and see IF we can help you...My sense of it is that one should NOT, under any circumstances, a)
provide the personal and detailed financial information they request; and, b) do NOT send anyone funds under these very questionable tactics.

I noted the "fine print" regarding public information. Our home loan is nearly paid in full and these scams keep coming. Thinking of calling them with a statement that "this conversation is being recorded to ensure public records accuracy" and listen to the rats run.

Just noticed is TEENY print on the bottom of the letter:
"this information was obtained through public records.  we are not an affiliate of, nor associated with bank of america or any government agency".

SCAM.  Simply on how misleading the notice is.  Trusting my gut instinct and not contacting them.

I recieved an official looking letter, headlined "important information regarding your loan with bank of america".  They have my loan number and name and address correct...the letter says "your loan with bank of america may be subject to a payment reduction.  relief services program is required to work off 17 billion dollars in current modification programs".

I already am dealing with another company that seemingly is part of bank of america, and I'm leary about them, oo.  With this one...I did call the number, and they answered with something like "credit services" and then when I got a live person she wanted to get my info so "a mortgage specialist" could call me back. I said if I can't get one now, I'd call at another time that was convenient to me and hung up.

Just doesn't feel right.  I think the letter is a bit misleading.
