Got a call today asking me to call back the number listed here on this page. I called back four times and was hung up on each time by some over feminized group of males who were taking the calls. I finally went and called another number I found for them and was told they have no business with me...well then why call me!!?? These kinds of companies are the scum of the Earth, and everyone out there that actually does have business with them watch them closely, because companies slip up all the time. When they do, sue them! This is the only way they will finally start to understand that we the people mean business. It is not about the money as some may say, it is about the law and if they will not follow it then they should have to pay.

Failure for them to comply makes them liable for any inconvience you may have and a minimum amount is $1000.00 plus any attorney fees. The fact that you recieved a call rather than mail in the first place is that it would be Mail Fraud which is a criminal offense. Report calls to Federal Trade Comission. If no Response to validation file formal charges with New York Attorney General.

I've rec'd several robocalls from this number over the past few months. I always just hang up. Today I listened to the entire message and learned it is a collection agency. I googled the number and came to this site. After reading several posts, I called the 800-535-1303 number from above. The lady was very nice, but had no record of my number in their system. She said they have several locations, and the call may have come from another of their offices. I then called the 888-907-0045 number. The person who answered, just like the voice on the robocall, had a heavy accent. When I gave him my number, he said they were looking for a S**** H*****, the name that i could barely understand from the robocall. When i told him I never heard of her, and that I had this number for 30 years, he said he would remove my number. Now i'll just have to wait and see.

Caller stated he is trying to reach Katrina Brooks- advised him he call the wrong phone # & to stop calling me!!.

Same thing here.  Several calls all for someone I dont know regarding debt collection .  I have had this # more than 10 years.  I dont know why I keep a land line, but in all seriousness,  they only people that ever call it are telemarketers, people soliciting donations, or election BS.  They should not have the right to call...not all of us work 9-5, and I get tired of being woke up.

I just got yet another call from these lower life forms. I've been getting calls off and on from them, from Frederick Hannah, or any number of other so-called collectors for several years now. Only thing is, all my debt was discharged in Federal Bankruptcy Court over 8 years ago. These creeps buy up old debt for pennies on the dollar, then try to intimidate you into making payments to them to get them off your back. Once you start up with them, you are re-setting the clock (depending on your state of residence) on your debt, which, if you are like me, you no longer even owe. When I see these calls come in, I just don't answer. That's why I have caller i.d. If I know the number, I will answer, if I wish, otherwise, they can take a flying leap.  If they really had a case for collection, they (ANY of these collectors) would have sent me something in the mail years ago. But they never have. So, they can call til their fingers fall off.  If you wouldn't answer your door to some unknown person standing out there, why would you answer your phone to someone you didn't know??  Get a grip, people, and don't answer that phone!!

So how does your blocker handle that?  Do you have to add every number?  Does it support a whitelist mode?  Can you program rules, or is it strictly a blacklist device?

I primarily use a whitelist approach, augmented with some rules.  I also didn't have to purchase anything.  My current solutions are Google Voice and call management through my VOIP provider.  Since the calls are blocked before they complete to my residence, there is no annoying ring.

I finally purchased the Digit One call blocker and it's magical!  The caller hears one ring and then they are disconnected.  These telemarketers and collection agencies aren't paying any attention to the Do Not Call list...they change their numbers at will so it's difficult for the government to track them.  This particular number always leaves messages looking for someone other than me, but their recorder is so garbled that I can never unddersgand the name they are asking for.

Plaza Recovery, debt collectors.  Calling for someone I don't know.  I have previously called them back to say "I am not [X] and I don't know them; take me off your list."  Took me 3 tries to get someone who wouldn't hang up on me but they agreed to remove my number.  Now they're calling again, breaking federal law.  Again, when I call for removal, the first several tries involve people hanging up on me or refusing to get their supervisor.  FCC complaint filed.

This time, not only do they have the wrong number, but their robo-call doesn't even say who they are looking for.  "This is a message for <and nothing is said>.  If you are not <and nothing is said>, please hang up."  (Kinda hard to do that when their robo-call gets to my voice mail.)

They keep looking for some guy name Daniel Foske (?).  Have had this phone number for over 8 years and no one named Daniel has ever lived here.  I am on the National Do Not Call list too....it makes no difference....typical government boondoggle.

Like MANY, they have been calling me also and for several months.  They usually are calling for SOMEONE ELSE BUT ARE USING MY PHONE #!!  I usually don't answer.  It is an automated message that, like some others have said, "Sounds like a robot."   They need to be STOPPED!!  Big THANKS to all of you for your help and information on this!!

Repeated message for Erica Parks (not me) left on my answering machine since I am never home when they call.   Something like - this is a collection call.  If you are not Erica Parks, you should not listen to this message and you should hang up now.  If you do not hang up, it must mean you are Erica Parks.  You need to call 888-907-0045 and give them the following account number.  This company must be run by morons.  Aside from being annoying, it is a _______if you do, ______ if you don't message.

Same as all the others here - debt collection.   Twist here is that I called the number a few months ago, spoke to a human, convinced them I wasn't the person they were looking for and that they had my phone number incorrectly associated with the deadbeat they were looking for.    That took some time, but it worked.    Then, two months later - I get the call again from 888-907-0045.     So...

I logged on to my comcast Xfinity account, went to the preferences tab, and entered call manager and configured call blocking for the above number.    With luck, that will prevent these nag messages from coming in.   I get 4 or 5 a year and have been for the past 3 yrs.

I continually get calls for someone who has been dead for 2 years!! Yes...DEAD!!!

The person they are looking for was my husbands first wife over 25 years ago. Why would they call ME??? Her last name wasn't even his last name anymore since she remarried many years ago. I refuse to deal with an EXwife and her prior issues. I keep getting the robotic messages on my machine. Why should I have to call them back to correct their mistake and I'll be damned if they think we're paying anything they dream of collecting.

Call for our name from Plaza associates to collect debt!!   We don't owe any debts to Plaza or anyone else.   What a total irritation to get these calls over & over and for no good reason.   I'm personally  sick of them as I am sure everyone else is.

They left some robo message about a debt.  I've had my number since May 2004.  You'd think they would make even a modest effort to get correct numbers, but I guess not.

Ring every so often but my trusty Panasonic phone has call blocking so they are instantly disconnected...hahaha!
