Got a txt from this number??

They STAY sending messages to my phone.  I haven't applied for any type of job at a  warehouse.  I wish they would leave me alone. It started this year too.  SMH.  I dont call back. I did text back and didnt hear anything. On top of that they know my first name. Uggh.

I also got a text from 646-483-3646 about an application, could have been from Craigslist but the message said to call 888-304-4360.
Haven't called, anyone know if bogus or not?

Got a text from 813-541-4008 this morning asking me to call about a warehouse position I applied to. Not going to call back, like others have said, why would they text you? Is there hiring done by a teenage girl? No offense to teenage girls...

This was the text I received :

"Hi, I just reviewed your application for the Warehouse position you applied for. Please call me at 888-907-0908"

I also replied to a craigslist ad 6 days ago and just received a text from 813-541-4008 that said Hi Jane, I just reviewed your application for the Receptionist position you applied for. Please call me at 888-907-0906. Thanks to you all, I won't bother calling.

Applied online on craigslist. got a text, got a call. got scam'ed. took an online survey (unemployment) which spamed, got a ton of e-mail and phone calls for products. Really pissed, unlearned my lesson.

I also got a text from 888-907-4196.  This is not the first time either.  The first time I called them back and they said that they were representing AT&T and needed some personal information like my SS# in order to send my resume to them.  All I have to say is Bullsh**!!!!!  My family has been in the recruiting industry for over 20 years and never has a client asked to see a SS# before they even look at a resume.  So definately beware.

I got a text on Sat from phone # 813-541-4008. I think it is a scam also, first of all who is going to send you a text, 2nd who is really going to call you on the weekend.  hmmmm. thats strange. BE WARE FOLKS.

I received a text from (813)541-4008 that told me to call 888-907-4196 about a warehouse position I applied for. Most likely this came from a warehouse supervisor position I applied for on Careerbuilder about a week ago. I called it and they said "Is this John?" how many companies answer the phone like that really? It's like some con artist was waiting by their phone with caller ID for me to call. Luckily I was smart enough to research this number online first and found out yellow pages and a few other websites had no listing. So I thought maybe it is just a really small company. Then I found this website and saw the other posts about texts being sent from multiple phone numbers and area codes to call this 8889074196 number all sent today within a few hours. Thanks to others who posted here, which is why I am returning the favor.
When I called they said they were attempting to sound legit and professional and wanted to verify all of my personal information that I entered on an application, but they had no idea what company the job offer was from. Hmmm, Seems like a scam to me. Companies seeking to hire do not send text messages! I have never seen that. She said she worked for a Career board and couldn't even give me much info about her company other than to tell me there job was to verify personal information. In my professional experience if you cannot even enter your personal info correctly the hiring company won't even bother to call you of course if there phone number was wrong they couldn't. I have never had a job offer ask to verify my personal information OVER THE PHONE before even telling about a position especially one that didn't even know about the position. Besides I sent a resume not an application, you better believe my personal info is correct on my resume, seriously who's isn't? So I say Scam all the way, don't tell them anything!!!! Unfortunately it seems they probably already know since she said she wasn't asking me for personal info she wanted me to verify what she already had. Thanks Career Builder for giving my personal info to Con-artists!!!! Again!!!!!!!!!!!!! You would think Career Builder would be responsible for verifying credentials before releasing our personal info, but apparently not because this isn't the first time!

I posted my resume on careerbuilders.com and I received a text from a 424-832-4132 and it said to call 888-907-4196 and I looked up the location it was in Florence Area of Los angeles by Compton ave and Florence Ave. I know that area and there is no large business there but small mom and pop stores. Besides not one who's looking to hire you would text you that is so unprofessional.

I just got a text message from this number too, must be a scam. but the text comes from 646-483-3646.

I also just got a text from 801-386-6793 telling me that they reviewed my application for the Admin position and that I should call 888-907-4196.  What is this?

I just received a text message that said they reviewed my application and for me to call 888-907-4196.  The text came from 704-936-6232.  I doubt it's legit..who texts someone about their application with no phone call?!

i just got a call the person said they reviewed my resume for a job they posted so idk if its real or not
