I received a call from 1-401-519-7688 on 10NOV2013 at 0945(945PM). I answered with "Hello", then was some silence, then clicking noise(We all know, I was being patched over because they cant wait for you!). A female(I say female, because a LADY would not be a SCAMMER or Debt Collector). She did not say who she was ...... she asked me "Is this XXXXX"...I responded "Yes". "Is this XXXXX XXXXXX" she then asked. Again I said "Yes". I then ask "Whom is this and why are you calling me?" She responded "I am such and such(I didn't understand her) and I am with such and such DEBT COLLECTORS" "WE ARE TRYING TO CONTACT YOU BECAUSE YOU HAVE FAILED TO PAY THE FINAL PAYMENT ON YOUR 1989 DODGE RAM" I said "You have the wrong person" She responded with this is being recorded and we are trying to collect a debt that I owe, is this XXXXX X XXXXXX XX(My full name and suffix) @ address(My full collect Address - XXXX XXXXXX XX,XXXXXXX, XX., XXXXX)?" "Yes" I said. "Your last four of your SSN is-5064" She asked. "NO, THAT IS NOT ME!" I said. She then stated "Sorry, that was the last four of the "ACCOUNT NUMBER NOT YOUR SSN"" She could not tell me, my last four of my SSN. So, now she wants to know when I will be sending the last payment of $364.xx for the 1989 Dodge Ram that I bought in 1989....I said "I never own a Dodge in my life nor would I!" "Also, if I owed on a car for so long they would had came a got it by now!", "I was to young to have a car at that time as well.". So she asked if my father has the same name, I replied, "NO, he does not!" She said, "OK, I well note the account and remove you from the list." We then both hung up the phone. It felt like she was phishing for info, that I was not going to give to her. I want to know where and how she got my personal info........... from the PHONE company, VA Hosp, County Clerks Office, Military CU, or the Lawyers office????????? They are the only ones I know that have the NEW ADDRESS(3 MONTHS, NEW) AND MY FULL CORRECT NAME...... ITS NOT ON THE INTERNET!!!! I have tried to find my info out there. Oh and by the way I have NO DEBTS!!!!!!!!!!!(WELL, OTHER THAN THE HOUSE. BUT NO OTHER DEBTS!!!!) If I cant pay cash, then I don't need it.

I received a call today which showed on caller ID to be from 480-428-1097 but the call back number was 888-912-7923. He said the company was Recovery Solutions and it was an important matter that needed immediate attention. A reverse phone number look up to the 480 number showed a Phoenix location in Phoenix. Phoenix has a 602 area code and not the 480 that this call came from. I think this is another scam. I looked up the company name and there isn't one listed with either number so needless to say I won't be calling them back.

If you "used to get annoying collection calls", then how come you came to this website and chose this specific phone number?  Are you bored with life and nothing better to do or do you work for Dynamic Recovery and wanted to see what people were saying about you?

Dynamic Recovery Services collection b*****ds who lie about everything and also were very sexually suggestive to me on several calls.  Tried to say I owed them money, which I don't and then solicted membership in NAMBLA.  gross.

Addy said, "I used to get annoying collections calls too.... then I paid my bills. Lets do the right thing people." So, Addy used to not pay her bills, now she does pay her bills and comes online and pontificates about it and then takes the moral high ground?  How does this make you better than everyone else Addy?  Just curious.

Also received a call from 510-460-1610 on my cell.  DRS agent Crystal (?) inquiring if so & so was there in reference to an important matter and or document.  

The call preceeded as such; mind you, Crystal (?), has a valley girl way of speaking; i.e., like, oh my god, like, well, like, you know, like.  

Geesh.  So, I suspected it was from a bottom feeding third class debt collector?  I owe no debt. Paid off my student loans about 12 years ago in full.  So...I decided to have some fun with her.  My room-mate was listening and having a great laugh.  

me: And you are?
her: Crystal (?) from DRS.
me: So who, what, where and why are you calling a private number?
her: It's on file. Like, it's the number you gave as a contact.
me: Really, to whom was this private number given too and for what purpose?
her: Arrgh, huh, hmmm, like are you so & so and is this your number?
me: First of all, my initial ? to you was...who are you, whom do you represent, where are you calling from and what is it that you want?
her: Sorry, like, I can not give you that information if you are not the person I need to speak too?
me: Like, OMG, so this person, like, you are needing to speak to like, what is it that you want from them?
her: Arrgh, hmm, like, I can not give you that information by law, and like, I am not going to break the law?
me: Well like, why not, like you are already doing it. Remember you called my private number.
her: I can not by law give you that information. Like, what I can say is, it is in reference to a document that I have with me.
me: OMG, great, so you have a document!  Like, what kind of document?
her: Arrgh, hmmphf, okay, so like, if your not so & so, I can not give you any further information about the document.
me: Oh, but like, I want to know.
her: Okay, so like, are you able to give so & so a message?
me: Give whom a message.  Why would I do that?
her: She hung up...absolutely irritated.

I have made note of the number and will pursue official complaints via the State Attorney General office and or FTC if they are to EVER contact me again with a demand of "Cease and Desist".

I recieved a call on my cell phone from one of the rudest of people yet. She first asked to speak to myself, addressing me by my name, so I asked " who's calling" before half a second passes she the says " are you " again addressing me by my name.  she goes on about paperwork that is going to be submitted for judgement against me, referencing some payday loan I was to have gotten back in 2001-2002, tells me ive been ignoring there calls and mailings. she goes on to read aloud my address and ssn #.  I'm really puzzled because I haven't received any mail or BS from these people. Her tone of voice was so distasteful and annoying already when she tells me about 2 minutes into call " this call is being recorded for purpose of debt" I then say " you have to tell me before you start recording my conversation, like when I first answered your call." she says " as long as i tell u before the call is ended, it's legal."  I had enough so I warned her she was about to get hung up on.   She then snarled " thats fine." im sure u guys no what i did next.

Ms. Holmes and Mr. Abbot are fake names and most likely running a huge scam.  Please be very wary of these people and guard yourself against them.

I have gotten a few calls from the same 253-292-3645 number.  One call from a Mr. Abbot and another call from a Ms. Holmes.  These are fake names and they are running a scam in my opinion!

Just got a call from them looking for my sister---she said she was Ms Gilstrap---the number came up as 412-802-9027 but the call back she gave me was 888-364-6866--said she was with DRS---she was "secretive" also---Said she had a statement there and my sister didn't even have a chance to know or answer about it...LOL...Debt collector, i guaranteee it

Just got a call from Dynamic Recovery Solutions ask for someone I know but this isnt his phone say they have important papers on him funny cause he has no credit at all never had anything in his name 404-382-5016

I got the same message from the same number. I wish I knew how to report these people.

I just got the same flyer in the mail. I thought it was unusual. I can't find the company at all listed. I have only found your comments so far. Where did you find your information?

Before you go hating your family member, consider this.  I can tell you for a fact, if they are telling you that this relative used your name as a contact, it is a LIE to get you to believe them and "give them up."  I was contacted several times by a company asking for "John."  I told them repeatedly that there is no "John" here.  I was then told that this was listed as a contact number for "John Smith," who is my Brother-In-Law that lives almost 2,00 miles away in another state.  They did not tell me what it was for, and implied that there was an emergency and I needed to get a hold of them right away.  Come to find out, they were calling regarding a Credit Card.  Once I found that out, it was on.  I tore into that woman.  I asked if they had an address on file for them.  It was an old address.  

After finally reaching my sister, she told me they would never put my name on anything, especially without my permission.  She went on to tell me that the account that these people are collecting for, is not them.  They do, to this day, have a current account with the Credit Card Company in question...the same account that they have always had.  However, the account number they are trying to collect on does not match theirs.  They have told them repeatedly, this is not me, but they insist it is.  These people refuse to send any proof, employ scare tactics, threaten legal action.  I know my sister, they make good money, and pay their bills...I believe her when she said it is not them.  I am still trying to figure out how these people connected us in the first place.

I just got a call from that same number 360-524-9724. Didn't catch the name of the guy. Tried to make a collection on a fraud account from 2003. Glad I found that number listed here. Going to report to FTC.

So I received an offer for some diet item for sale called Wakame - the order form has the # 888-912-9643.  Very strange that people are getting calls from this number when it is on an ad.  I knew I did not like the advertisements and did research adn sure enough - they are a rip-off - i hope desperate people don't send them money or their credit card info.

Got the same thing here.....Important call my a**....Just save the number to your phone then you should have an option to send right to voicemail...You will never know they ever called you again :P

There is something really strange with these people.  Why will they not give any information after the "urgent message" with "private information".  I called and could get nothing from them as to what they do or what the reason for the call was.  The asked for a person of the last name that is different from mine.  Why????  I am reporting them to the attorney generals office.  They are mining information or something or it is a scam of some sort.

The calls I am getting from these people are for someone I have never heard of.  Apparently some deadbeat had my number before it was assigned to me.  It is nothing to do with me.  So don't assume that the people getting harassing phone calls need to pay their bills.  I have always paid my bills.  Get your facts straight nest time!

got a call from drs  the girl said if i didn't pay up the so called debt i would get a 1099 form to file with my tax return   Sounds like a scam to me

She didn't say IRS, she probably said DRS.

Always check in your state for the statue of limitations. AZ is 3 years.. if debt uncollected it closes.. if you speak to someone within that time it reopens from that date for three years. debt from 10 years ago is no way going to be collected so NEVER call them back.. it will stop, if calls continue, report and they will be warned to never call.

Got a call on my work cell phone from 405-555-0199 (an Oklahoma number).  It was a woman who said her name was Dory (?).  She addressed me by my first name and said she had my number as a contact number and said it was urgent I call back concerning a "matter in their office".  She gave this 1-888 number as the number to call back.  It sounded vague and suspicious so checked this site and based on seeing so many similar reports, concluded this is spam.  I immediately went on donotcall.gov and registered my number.

Just missed a call and returned .. Latiya said that I owed gor a card i paid off in 06... hmm (not on my credit report.. they said if i didnt make an arrangement yo pay it off today it would be marked as a refusal.. i said no it wont be, i work in the collection industry and you cant do that. She demanded a payoff letter .. i got the fax # (866)480-2375..

Like everyone on this site, I have recently been receiving weekly calls from 510-506-9023. Luckily I have never answered, but they DO leave curt and demanding voicemails...wherein they leave a vague descriptor about the purpose of the call and then instruct you to call back # (888)912-7923.  I just blocked the number on my cell phone.  Hoping they are caught!

I got a call, same number and woman, on my voicemail. I called back, spoke to another, very polite gal, who explained that my number was listed as a contact for a (former) relative. She offered to remove my number, no problem. Hope she followed through. My ex's family used me as a reference on a lot of applications, apparently:(

these people keep calling me they wont tell me who they are they just wont money they told me it was for a old bill gave me a acount number so i called the people i owed supossibly and they had no records at all with the use of my name ever owing this bill they used my social to look it up to still no records so i called them back they got real rude when i asked who they were i would like to see if you can help there phone number is 888-912-7923 my email is slckwllm@gmail.com
