Received GMAC Bankruptcy Court 5 page lawyer-encrypted letter in the mail saying to call this number.  Judging by the other kind people on here it's a big scam.  

It's claiming to be from a group of lawyers in New York.

I received a call from them last night and again this morning.  If I didn't call them, they'll either leave a message or give up.  Hopefully they give up.

I have missed calls from this number for the past 2 days. When I call it back, the line goes dead! Annoying!

888-926-2347 called and asked for ...... said that our rates were going up and he had work done on his vehicle, then hung up cause i asked if it was for insurance.

Who called me from this number

I have received ten calls from this number. Don't they know when to stop? I have reported them to the DO NOT CALL LIST.  Maybe that will stop them.

Telemarketer - says I had requested car insurance quotes 6 months ago.  Do not believe I did, since I have been with current insurer for a few years and happy.  Nonetheless was calling to pitch car insurance.  Would not take no for any answer.  Had to hang up.

Call the number back and you get dead air

It is from ..Lower my bills, com...about Car Insurance...i caaled the number back just to see who is calling..it did not ring-a woman came online and said Hi-and she gave me my name---she is one fast talker- tried to tell her i am not interested and she just kept on keeping on..very pushy.....

Be careful, do not call back on numbers such as these, as they could be a company/person who can then connect to your phone & use it to make foreign calls on your dime!!!

I got call today...listed as missed call.  I ret call and lady answered saying customer service and then said is that you jean....I hung up, put number in my do not answer listing which is programmed in my settings to a silent ring that goes straight to vm....if they call again I can go onto my cell account and block the number for good...ck it out...

I gave some information to an ad on reverse mortgages and they sell your phone number to all kinds of different agencies I don't answer 888 886 887 and all those kind and when I leave a phone number it is my tracphone without my name listed

The caller left a message , just short and not so sweet.  There was a strange beep more of aping, then a woman saying..." Your going to die.".
I didn't call back , but this is sort of spooky.

call my cell # one per day each weekday morning.  I answered once but hung up as soon as the recording started.

There is a site FCCgov/complaints go to it and fill out the info list it as a dead call if theyb get several complaints the FCC will come  in and stop them and fine them,

Got a call yesterday on my cell asking for my husband.  When I asked who was calling the gentleman stated he was following up to an email request for lower car insurance rates.  I told him my husband passed away, he offered condolences and hung up.

An unknown caller from an unknown number.  Apparently, they are "LowerMyBills), selling auto insurance.

It's a company called "Lower my Bills" and their "manager" FRANK is a jerk on the phone. They call and harass you trying to make a buck. What a waste of human existence.

yep, from lowermybills.com.   I was asked if it was okay if they got me another insurance quote for my car.  I said no and that I am hanging up now.   Hopefully that is enough.

I've never been to this site. NEVER. They call 4-5 times a day.  I've reported them to the FCC.  I've had the same insurance company for 15 years.

Why are these numbers going through despite do not call listing. This is only 1 number going through 4 different phone numbers. I had immediately placed on the list. Does govt actually do anything about this harrassment?

This person said I recently inquired about car insurance rates which isn't true. What's annoying is he called me by name. Normally I don't answer ay 800 or 888 calls but I was waiting for a call back from someone else and didn't look at the number calling me. I get these calls about three or four times a day and just ignore them. I've turned the ringer on my phone almost off so I don't even hear it ring. I never give my cell number to anyone unless I know them so I don't get too many calls on that.
