They call almost everyday....thank God I have Saturday and Sunday off. I am a one person office and they annoy the poo out of me.,,,I leave clients to answer the phone and they hang up. Know why? Cause this so called Yellow pages is a scam. They scammed my bosses wife a few years back for almost 400$ so called business listing. Then they sent us a credit but guess what...no cheque....just a credit invoice. These people are fraudulent in the what they are doing.

A..hole, stupid criminals! What would a person with a residential number want with this????

They asked for owner by name. When call was put through, lady said she wanted to confirm tel & fax #. When asked where she was calling from she replied: Phone pages!! Address info she had was correct. Did we also want e-mail address listed? I asked: is this a free listing? "No, there is a charge.... which was the end of the conversation.
They may get people suckered into listing thinking this is an official publication and that it is free!

Had a call from this today.  They asked for our owner by his first name only.  When I said he wasn't in and asked what they were calling about the guy on the other end didn't say anything and hung up on me...so obviously a scammer.  A real business would either A.) Tell you why they are calling or B) Leave a message.

So tired of these phone scams...this sucks.

If you would like to be removed from their cold call list e-mail them
your phone number/s with the request that they remove you/your company immediatly.  
It is the "DO NOT CALL" list.

This is now Jun 6, 2012 and they are obviously still in business.  Called, I ignored and no message left, they will get the whistle if they call back.

"Phone Pages online search" - wanting to confirm co. info - didn't give them any info. Office in Montreal

When we got home from work today, there were 2 missed calls from this number (on our residential phone line), and of course no message left. I attempted to call back to find out who they were and why they were calling and just kept getting voicemails, so when I couldn't get thru I read some posts on this site and tried extension 106; Finally someone picked up. I asked why they were calling and was told our number is not in their system, so it was probably a wrong number. Wrong number, twice in one day, don't think so. I asked to be put on their internal do not call list and he told me they don't have one (we are already registered on the national do not call list). I informed him that if I receive another call from this number I will be reporting them.

Caller said they were with Canadian Business Services.  Wanted to confirm address.  Address they had was very old-almost 5 years old.  Told them that since the address they have on file is so old, we obviously didn't want to be listed.  I asked to be taken off their list but caller seemed to have a problem understanding that (not knowing what list I was referring to).

Every day at our business between 9am and 10am we get a call from 888 928 8551, we answer and nobody is there, just silence followed by an ear splitting sound of a phone hanging up. Very annoying.

Extension 106 gets you "Brock" - no last name.  Demanding payment for bogus invoicing process and an unwanted directory listing.  They should be rejected and reported to BBB and PhoneBusters at every opportunity.

It's appears to be Collect corp again - these guys just don't get it

They called me tonight too and of course, didn't leave a message. If it really is some place in Montreal I can see that I would ever want to deal with them, it's a bit outside my client area.

I did not pick up the phone but I found this is the toll free number for "PhonePages.ca" in Montreal, I guess they are trying to grab a chunk of the yellow pages market.
