The company is Alliance Consulting.  They charge a fee to help you process information for government grants

I am looking to find the company name to this telephone number. 1-888-931-8787 for the grant consultants. If anyone has any idea or know the name of  the company or consultants could you please reply. I would much appriciate it. THANKS

How did you get this check done, with what information??? They are not online, they don't give out their address, etc. etc. Pullleassse. do you work for the company by chance?

Don't do it, it is a waste of money. I did and now all I got was papaer that shows whre to apply for loans... Who wants a loan? we all have enough of then.

It is a waste of money. They promise you money that, you have to hunt for. And not get.

I too applied for this same company and was told they would do everything. Well, we all know that was a lie. I received my papers today that give me websites to apply for loans. I don't need and loans. I have them. I too needs grants that, don't have to be paid back. I am going to file a complaint with the BBB in NY where the company is located.

I called and now they are saying the second set of packets takes between 6 and 12 weeks.  That's the last I'm giving them.  I could have really used this $300.

I did eventually receive my packet.  But now I am waiting for other packets that I probably should have received two weeks ago.  I'm gonna call them about it now.  I will keep you all informed.

They called me 2 or 3 times , I checked them out with bbb and found no complaints ,so I paid them the supposedly refundable $298. That was 25 days ago and I have recieved nothing! I got the same speel about getting $5000 or more or my money back. Now I am afraid I have been scammed! I am turning all of the info I have and the banking info over to my lawyer tomorrow in an attempt to get my money refunded. I will come back and let everyone know what happens next.

I am waiting for my package as we speak.  I spoke to Sue Dixon last week and they said it went out, so who knows.  Did any of you get your money back if you didn't get the $5000?

The Web site you gave they want you to get a loan.  I don't need a loan I have two of them now, I need a grant I don't have to pay back.

They helped many people with their services; they match you up with agencies that give out assistance. They do not deal with grants, but all financial assistance programs.  This is not a scam, and I called them earlier today (spoke to the supervisor and explained me A to z the program) and the phone was answered promptly. I am confident about this service! (STOP SPREADING BAD RUMORS, it?s either you did not follow the policy to get your money back, or you didn?t disclose to the company that you were making too much money which made you not eligible for any financial assistance)

I rec'd a call from Alliance Consulting stating they can help me with gov't grants, like everyone esle asking for 298. refuned if not rec'd a grant amount. I spoke with Sue Dickens 1/2/08. Not sure what to do about this due to all the website state there shouldn't be a fee.. and why should there be a fee if you are getting it from the gov't and you already paid more taxes for over many years. when it state free it should be free... or change your information to stated there is a 298.00 fee.

I signed up with the company and then my car had a problem so I couldn't really affort to pay the fee.  However, my payment date was that day, which i had forgotten.  I called the company but they couldn't stop it, but they DID refund me in the next couple of days.  I was reassured about this company and I will wait until next month when I'll have the money to continue with my service.  I have full confidence!!

I just wanted to let you know that I got funding from the agency, they match me up for my education,(4740$ for each semester, 2100$ from another agency for each semester as well)I was hoping to get more money, but I can't complain that's money that I don't have to pay back!
HOWEVER the process took about 4 months from the date I applied, I wish it was sooner, but I have been told every case (depending on the state you're in and the funding they have for 2007) is different and that I had to wait for the agency to respond. Waiting is the hard part

www.mygovernmentresources.com. This is the website I went to to register. They called me today but I seriously doubt that it is a legitimate company. They ask for $298.00 with a supposed guarantee that you will receive at least $5000.00 or you will be refunded. If I understood correctly, once you pay you get another website to log onto that will give you all the details. When asked for some kind of reference showing that they are legitimate, she could not comply. In todays world who is going to pay money up front with no proof that they are not scamming you. She said they work with all kinds of government agencies that give the grant money so I then said-well give me a name of one so I can verify your company does in fact work with them?? She declined. If they are such a reputable company doing all this good work-why then can no one vouch for them. I think I will stay far away from these folks.

I called the company and paid 298.00   I got my booklet everything so far i good will let you know when i get the money . Every time  i call someone handles my questions .

Basically you give them your bank account#, then they put you on the line for a recorded phone call where they speak a hundred miles a minute and record you saying you understand and agree, they take your $298 +$29 and then 4 weeks later you get a preprinted booklet in the mail, fill it out, and 4-6 weeks later supposedly, they send you a list of govt. agencies to apply to based on your answers. They are fast talkers and you need to ask questions cause they offer very little info. They did not tell me that I had to do the work. The woman, Barbara Lewis, that I spoke to said they do everything. Not true. They say $5000 or your $ back. Not true. You get it back less processing fees of $39.95 IF you can prove to their satisfaction that you did not get at least $5000.

Chris have you received anymore money from the the company you applied to regarding the $4700.  Let me know, I am a small business owner and i would like to buy more computer systems. I would like to know how good of a company  they are.

Do you recall the website you went to, when you applied for the grant money,i forgot it. I did performed a Federal Criminal, Civil and a Bankruptcy check on the company and it came back clear.

I was contacted by Alliance Consulting, who said if I paid a refundable fee of $298 up front, they would help me get financial aid.  I called them back and they said they do not have a website, but does anyone know if this is a scam?  I also called the Better Business Buruea, who said they had no complaints about the company.

they don't deal with grants, they deal with financial assistance available in  the state you are leaving in, they just match you up with thr right agencies . (if there is funding available in your state for education, housing...)
