Called my cell and left voicemail claiming to be AT&T. Said they gave us a $32 dollar credit and asked me to call back to verify. Sounds like a scam to me and I will not be calling them back.

Calls, when answered, they hang up.

yup, just a hang up.  I appreciate this website, it helps identify the "junk" callers.

Called us in the late afternoon on a weekday (not a bad time) claiming to be from AT&T. They asked for my wife and seemed to be aware that she had a cell phone. This is odd since they called my business land-line and didn't call, text or email her directly (the cell phone plan is in her name). They asked if we were interested in doing some sort of check on her cell phone to make sure there was no extra data or text usage that could be avoided. This seemed very strange and not typical of how AT&T customer service operates so I told them I was not interested and hung up.

It was probably an attempt (typical of phone-scammers) to acquire a cell-phone number and other info on false pretenses.

Called for me while I was out.  Claimed to be from AT&T responding to a question I had asked - but I had not asked any questions.

same as you guys...
