i got the same call from SARAH MORGAN saying she was going to stop at my place of residents or place of employment on monday the 17th of september is this a scam. When she left the number she wasn't very clear until i googled it a whole bunch of ways and found this website.

I got a call from this number this morning ( 8/08/2012). His voicemail said he would be " dropping by my place of employment this following day". When I returned the call I spoke with "Marcus Stone". He said that Jacobson Katz is an investment company & they purchased my loan from St Armands. Google that one. St Armand's is not affiliated with Jacobson Katz, their collections are handled by Zardam. St Armands has an F from the BBB. BBB has nothing about Jacobson Katz. They will not accept mailing in payments (or give a mailing address) or a Western Union payment. They demand a credit card number. Marcus Stone said they only do business via email. This is a huge fraudulent scam. They move from state to state, evading prosecution. DO NOT even answer a call from this number.

A lady named Sarah Morgan just left a message on my voicemail saying that she was stopping by my work or my home on Thursday (today is Tuesday).  When I called the number she left, 888-958-1095, it directed me to a Markus Stone who said he worked for Jacobson, Katz & Assoc.  I Googled that name and found this page.  Then, I Googled the 888 number and found this page again.  I unloaded the fact that her voicemail was in direct violation of FDCPA which was regulated by the ACA.  He put me on hold twice - the second time, he came back and said that "his superiors told him he could no longer work the case."  When I asked to speak to someone who could, he told me the case had been dismissed and disconnected the call.  Prior to hanging up, he refused at that point to tell me what the call was about.

OBVIOUSLY THIS IS A SCAM!  DO NOT GIVE THESE PEOPLE ANY OF YOUR PERSONAL INFORMATION AND DO NOT SEND THEM MONEY!  THIS IS NOT LEGIT!!!

Have these people stopped by anyone's home or employment? I can't get a hold of anyone at the number and was just wondering . I got the same message as everyone above.

Well, it's Thursday. Nobody showed at my work or home. I'll assume it's a scam for now.

Well, nobody answers this number and they never returned a call. Tomorrow is Tuesday. This should be amusing.

Thanks Heather. They've now called my ex wife and ex girlfriend and left messages. How do these people get away with this s***? I left them a voicemail threatening to sue.  They either tell me who they are or what they want, or I'm not talking to them. Period.

DO NOT GIVE THESE PEOPLE ANY INFORMATION; THEY ARE TRYING TO MATCH YOUR INFORMATION UP WITH YOUR NAME.  IF YOU GOOGLE YOUR NAME, MOST LIKELY  YOU WILL FIND OUT YOUR PHONE NUMBER AND OR ADDRESS COURTESY OF WHITEPAGES.COM.
THEY MAY SAY THAT THEY HAVE A PACKAGE, MAY ASK TO SPEAK TO A FAMILY MEMBER.  IF YOU TELL THEM THAT THEY ARE CALLING A CELL PHONE AND OR BUSINESS, LEGALLY THEY CAN NOT CALL YOU BACK.  IT DOESN'T MATTER IF YOU LIE TO THEM TO GET THEM TO QUIT  CALLING YOU.  IF THEY CALL AGAIN, YOU COULD SAY THAT YOU HAVE CALLER ID, YOU HAVE BEEN TOLD TO STOP CALLING, NEXT STOP IS A CALL FROM MY LAWYER.  THAT WILL SCARE THE S*** OUT OF THEM.
REMEMBER IF ITS LEGIT, THEY WON'T ASK YOU TO VERIFY ANYTHING.

Just received a call both at work and on cell from a "sarah ferguson" says I'm on her schedule to be served either at home or work?  Gave me a 888-958-1095 with a claim#? WTF is this?

this is a Law Firm collection agency. They are trying to find you to serve you.

i talked to a lady by the name of angel she was very rude dont trust her i think is a scam

I got the same message at work and home yesterday and today.

Called to advise that a claim had been file against me under my name and ss# and that he would be stopping by my work or home.

A person named Madison Jones left a message at my place of employment to call back at 1-888-958-1095.  I called the number got the same recording as stated above.  Who is this company and what do they want?  Anybody?

Got message from this number today saying call immediately and docket number and this number said it was Jacobson kat and associates but when I called back just got recording saying operator and no one was available to take my call think its a scam

I got a call today that i had to contact this number so that they can cease and assist to Stefen and my docket number is 132746. I haven't called them, but who are these people and what do they want

Called looking for someone, said they were sending a package by courier and they had 48 hours to respond.  They provided Stefen with phone number and Document #133889.

Called number from another phone - electronically answered and went to 'operator'.  Man answered without name or company name used, just 'hello.'
