I KEEP GETTING THIS CALL ALSO, DON'T HAVE THE CARD

The next best thing to do is to call them and give them some fake numbers. Call early, call often.

I got the same message as everyone else...its a scam and I deleted it.

This happened today to myself and several friends.  One friend gave them fake info just to see what happened and it told her thank you for updating your info and your card is now safe.  
Never respond to these things.  If you are not sure call your bank!

This is a skam website! Fraudulent is nothing else. I got the same text message on a Sunday morning. My bank doesn't send text messages from a automatic teller without a live person on the other end. BE careful and watchful. Sorry 18889590609 not this TIME or PERSON! May God reign his wrath on you.

The really weird part about it was my debit card was stolen yesterday.

I just received a text message stating as follows: 18889590609@attention.com[BULK] Your Credit Union debit card has been flagged. Call 1-888-959-0609 and follow steps to re-activate your card....funny thing is I don't have a credit union debit card, I have one through a bank and it's not even in my name, it's in my husbands name, sooo this message is definetly a SKAM

got scam call today on my cell. Jerks. "Point West CU".... right, like I ever heard of that credit union.

Got text from 18889590609@membersservice.com  S:  M: Point West CU  general alert.  Your debit card has been flagged. Reactivation required call....888-959-0609,    DONT HAVE A DEBIT CARD AND DONT WANT THIS TYPE  OF CRAP ON MY PHONE!

I got the same message, and I actually fell for it!

I have to call now my real credit union to fix this mess.  I wasn't thinking and now they are probably going to steal my identity.

I got the text last night, when i called the number to see what kind of scam it was, I just got an automated message asking for my card #, pin, etc... I put in false info starting with 4045 (meaning "visa") and was told my info was correct, and the problem had been resolved.. I think we should all do this to clog their system with fake debit card #'s!! Just call anonymously, and have fun!!

received a text message, debit card has been flagged please call 888-959-0609 . Called to hear what they were trying to do, but automated service asking you to put your 16 digit number in ..scam, scam, scam wish could figure out way to nail these guys

I just received a text from 888-959-0609 stating, Members Plus Credit Union general alert that my debit card has been flagged & requires me to call them to reactivate.  I belong to a couple credit unions, neither of them have a debit card both are just savings accounts.  I figured it was some type of scam but called the number just to hear what they say.  I didn't listen long but long enough to hear that it was an automated system that does not identify its company's name. I hung right up after hearing their first prompt for you to punch in your 16 digit debit account number.  

Don't bother with this text at all...definitely a scam.

I just received a text message from this number reading as follows:

Members Plus Credit Union general alert: Your debit card has been flagged - reactivation required. Call toll free 1-888-959-0609.

Considering I've never had an account with this bank, I figured it was a scam. I still called the number to see what they had to say. However, it was automated and stated that there were no live representatives and asked me to enter my full account number, exp date, sec code, and SSN to "verify that I was the correct person". Sure....

Please don't give out any info to these people!

Just received a text stating my credit union debit card was flagged and to call. I don't have a credit union debit card. Anyway to stop this ? I don't want a bill for text messages because of these low lifes .
