These people just called my property manager at the apartments I live in.  I don't even have the number they called.  I have a cell # for them but these people called their home number.  When I called them back they immediately started telling me that I owed them money on a debt I had never heard of, no idea how they got the number they got but I told them not to call it again.  It was embarrassing & not necessary at all.

they just did it to us, don't this people has nothing better to do?

"David James" just called my mother's number looking for my son.  She's elderly and in poor health and doesn't need to be bothered by rude people.  He would not give her information, just gave her a case number and said he had tried tried to serve a court summons.  He demanded that she have my son call him and didn't seem to believe that she didn't have a phone number for him.  She was very upset when she called me.

THESE A** HOLES CALLED A RELATIVE HOUSE OF MINE AN A CHILD ANSWER THE PHONE SO THEY STILL GAVE OUT INFO.. TO THE MINOR ... AN MUST HAVE A SEARCH LIST OF NUMBERS THE BUY FROM OTHERS SIGHTS THAT HAVES CALL CENTERS AN. JUST TRY REALLY HARD TO SCAM PEOPLE AN SCARE THEM UP. THEY JUST NEED TO GET ANOTHER PROFESSION CAUSE THIS DOES NOT WORK....STUPID A&&&....

SCAMMER.  They told me they had "important documents" for me and could not deliver, the scammer on the phone actually said, might have just been a timing issue???? I knew this wasn't a real call but i played along anyway and asked where did they try to deliver such "important papers"?  He said he did not have the address, he was just the courrier service and I could call the 888 # and they would be able to help me.  (within the hour becuase that's how long he was able to hold my "important paers".Really, the messenger service didn't have the address??????

This is bull**it!!  Some big white thug just showed up at my door and served me documents.  These a**holes are actually suing me!  I'm going to court and tell the judge it wasn't me.  My ex-boyfriend ran up this card and now I got to pay for it.

Just received a call from these a***oles a few minutes. So the first thing I do is type in the number they gave me to call and up pops this forum. The same M.O. So I call them and give them a piece of mind, letting them know I already had researched them and know they are scammers and not to call my phone. So he calls back and calls me a piece of trash in which I told him to go s*** a d***! Haven't heard back as of yet and don't expect to!

**DEADBEATS LOOK FOR MANY REASONS TO NOT PAY WHAT THEY OWE -

I have been dealing with these people for over a year now. They have harassed me so severely at my job that I have actualy left work early in tears. They have threatened me that I am going to jail and I'd better pray that I never get pulled over by the police because there is a warrant for my arrest. Fortunately my best friend knew something about scammers like this. She sent me some web links and long story short I discovered that they hacked into a loan companys computer and got all my info. Apparently this is a common thing and they use scare tactics to make you give them money. They scared me so bad I almost gave them $600. I called the Attorney Generals office and the lady gave me alot of helpful info. The company & phone number I gave her were not even legitimate! She had received multiple calls about the same number. She told me to record every time they call and what is said. Whether I tape record it or just write it all down. She also told me the next time they call to let them know that I know they are not a real company and to leave me alone. That's what I did and it worked for a short time. A few months went by and they started again. So I told them again that I spoke to the AG and I know they are not a real company. I haven't heard from them in a while but now I have the same guy calling me (David James) and saying that he has to serve me papers. He called my work several times and I told him not to call here anymore. Today my mom called me at work very uopset because they called her house looking for me and he demanded she tell them where I am living yet they would not tell her what it was about. The guy told my mom that they have attempted to serve me once and that they are going to serve me a second time and that if I do not respond within a few hours they will take further legal action against me.
When all this started happening a year ago, I actually filed a complaint with the FTC as well. Do not let these people scare you like they did to me. I thought for sure I was going to jail by the way I was degraded and threatened. Let them know that you know they are not a real company.

someone called private and asked if my husband would be home to be issued a summons. I said no. He then proceeded to explain that this was his second attempt to serve him and if he didn't respond within 2 hours, further action could be taken. He gave me this 888 number to call along with a case number. When I called the number there was a double beep prior to them speaking (usually that sound indicates recording) the name of the company is colonial management. Just for the record, when the courts issue a summons, they don't phone first.

Someone from this number just called my in-laws looking for me.  My father in-law told them that I didn't live there and then he asked for my husband and my father in-law told him that we didn't live there and that he wasn't going to give out any information.  My father in-law was told that the caller had a 'summons' for me  and left 'case #' with him.  I have NEVER used my in-laws phone number as any sort of contact # for myself. The caller did not leave a name nor a compaeny name - just the phone # and case # - if that doesn't throw up the BIG RED FLAG then nothing does!

My brother got a call from this number on my home phone they let a message saying I needed to cal ASAP with my case number, I recently applied for a home loan, but didn't get it, I cant believe they are trying to scam me already!!!!

my mother got a call asking for me and they gave her a case number and said i had 2 hours to respond with documentation to "prove what i'm stating".  my tenant, in a rental property that i own, also got a call requested to speak to me.  they told him that i personally put them on my contact list.  i did not call back, nor will i after reading john boy's experience.  I, too, also JUST GOT A MORTGAGE!  so must be some scam??

This number called my cell and asked to speak to my wife and asked for her by her maden name. We have been married for 12 years. Said they had important time sensitive documents to deliver. I said there is no one by that name at this phone number and hung up. A week later a similar call went to my Inlaws and same line of questions but then they asked for my father in law and told him he was a secondary with authority to accept a delivery for my wife. We have no outstanding unpaid debt that we know of. We did apply for a mortgage to purchase a second home so it may have brought out the scammers. There is nothing on our 3 credit reports either. Cannot control the actions of my inlaws to be smart enough to dodge scam calls. I ended up being the bad guy when I tried to educate them.
