These people are so bogus. The phone number they list on a bank withdrawal belongs to a private residence in Canada! I called and he said he gets calls all the time about this company. Their address belongs to Mail Outpost in Corona. Their return address on the envelope has Mail Outpost whited out. They are very dishonest and NOT collecting for Boscovs or HSBC. I called both those companys and they have never heard of them.  DO NOT give them any information. If they take money from your bank account, call your bank and they will try to retrieve. Then call your States Attorney General and report them.

I got the same mesage  as Dont try to rip me off. LV&V Associates and a process server by rhe name of Peter or Paul Allen. I do not remeber which. They are associated with the following numbers 888-959-9628,888-984-5730,855-247-0621,888-976-1094. Thier mosr current number seems to be 855-247-0621. Frank Lucas is the name that was given to me when I asked to speak with someone in charge. He is very evasive and git angery when I questioned him.

These people are horrible. I am  a single mom and they are trying to get cash I need to survive. I hope they rot in hell

Has anyone ever actually been served court papers from this company?  I have been getting the same drama from them.

I got a call from a blocked number saying they were document services, they gave me a number to call and a "tracking number" I called 888-984-5730 and got LV and associates. To make a long story short, my situation is almost exactly the same as everyone else. They were talkin bout taking me to court and all! Terrible! These people are the worst and need to be stopped! I just came home from a very emotional day when they called, this made me upset. I had no clue what they were talking about.

So I just got the call, but the number appeared as blocked. I got a message that was almost verbatim to Don't Try to Rip Me Off's post. The name they used was my last name but not my first. Curious to see if they call back. I will use Explorer's tactic of invoking the much feared name of the FTC if so. I have scrupulous credit and deservedly so. No unsuspecting rube here either. Received a call from this number looking for information on a person in my household I told them nothing

Yup got a call from these folks, Said he was Alan Rhode, Needed to serve legal papers on me, Wanted to know where I was.  Since I've lived in the same place for over 50 years didnt make sence that they needed me to tell them where I was.  If it was a legitimate debit or legal issue, THEY WOULD KNOW WHERE TO FIND ME!  Ha!  Do not give these scammers any information!  They are no good!

What a scam, these people are just trying to find out informaton to steal from you, they wanted to "confirm my address" and "confirm my credit card information"  When I wouldnt answer their questions until they tell me who they are, they hung up.

I dont really know who these people are, maybe a debit collector?  I dont know since i dont owe any debits.

I had the following voice mail on my answering machine today, 9/24/12:
?Hello, this message is intended for (insert name).  I?m calling from the Document Service Division.  I've been retained to deliver sealed documents to you this Wednesday, September the 26th between the hours of 8:00 AM and 4:00 PM. I do need to verify that either yourself or someone over the age of 18 will be there to sign and accept these documents.  If you would like to inquire about the documents that are being issued to you, or if you would like to reschedule the delivery of these documents, please contact the office that's handling your case at 888-959-9628.  Make sure that you do reference your case number #11-00865.  Please note that there will only be a total of two attempts to deliver these documents with the last attempt being at your place of employment, so if you wish to avoid future action you do need to contact them by the end of business day tomorrow.  Thank you and good luck to you, (first name).?

Since the message was for a stranger with the same last name as mine, I called the number to inform them they had the wrong number and that I didn't know anyone by that name.  The woman asked for the case number, which I provided.  She then asked for my phone number.  When I wouldn't provide it, she became very rude and told me I could continue receiving calls if I didn?t give her my phone number.  This sounds like some kind of scam to me.

Caller ID'd themself as Patricia from LV Associates. Called for another person and said that this number was previded as a contact number. Appears to be a scam where internet information on name associations is used to track down a debtor and anyone who may be associated by name. Once I attempted to confirm an address as my number was not provided to them, is unlisted, and unpublished they stated they would remove the number. The reason I wanted the address was to confirm association to L.V. Financial Funding collection agengy and report to FTC. Once I stated this they hung up. 17Sep2012

I'm so excited these people called me! I haven't been so entertained in months.
I got a call about all the important legal documents they needed to send me, so when I called them and asked
for an address they argued with me and told me to give them my information. So I contacted the Federal Trade Commision and filed a claim with them and then filed a claim with my Attorney Generals Office. Then for fun I called them back with a fake case number that was just off the one they sent me, and they began to negotiate someone else's claim without even verifying who I was. If I was older and not as tech smart these guys could possibly scam some good people. Now good luck to you scammers when the next call that comes in could possibly be the FEDS shutting you down! Oh and you sound like under educated idiots as well!

anyone reading this may want to check the numbers thoroughly with a google search.. several of these "people" ie.. patsy collins b... show up with different stories at different sites.. obviously they are trying to intimidate people with their "true stories" of people that got served with something so they get intimidated and pay something on the phone.. don't fall for it.. if you have debt, negotiate it through the original company and report these creeps to the ftc as they are doing a number of illegal things and need to be shut down.

The servers document unit called me about 4 times, two times I was at work and could not call them back and I forgot to call back. These idiots had uniformed officers come to my workplace and served me, I was actually in a board meeting at the time.
