I go a call from the number 888-960-6293, and the said it was from an OLD visa credit card and that I owed them 1,100.00 dollars or I was going to be served and a warrant issued for my arrest. I was scared and thought it was something left hanging from my divorce. STUPID me I think the best of people to much sometimes and gave them my banking info. The got 400 from me before it really hit me that things were not adding up. So I froze that account from any money coming out at my bank. They didn't get the rest of the money and the day they didn't get my money called to find out why. I didn't answer but he left a message. I never heard from him again. Today my mother received a call from a woman from the number 888-960-6294 and a file number b/c they wanted to serve me. They called my mom the first time to get me to call them. The number you all are saying you can call is a fax number on the top of a paper they sent me to fax a paper to them. Its 951-520-0118. Its suppose to be a fax number so I don't know how you could call it. Im gonna call it and see what it says. They are saying they are Colonial Asset Management

Try using the number 888-260-9402 to stop the faxes.  The bottom of the one I got said "Apologies:  If you have recieved this fax in error please call toll free 888-260-9402 to be removed immediately"  
Note that "received" is spelled incorrectly on their sheet.

The fax I received this morning has a note at the bottom that says to call 888-260-9402 to be removed. It is an automated line and instructed me to enter my fax # and it would remove me.

Check out MelMay 2008 post just above yours ... then you might look into these guys (I don't know how cheap the deals they link to are but) they've been around since 1995 and I think they are just a portal, so they make their money from ad dollars and not scamming people.  And this company is a legit travel agent "VacationsToGo" dot com... we've booked 2 Carnival Cruises through them (I'm not sold that they are the cheapest or best, but they do have some specials pages and they give discounts to certain companies and organizations - that's how we ended up with them).  And finally, there are cruise reviews on Yelp ... just don't know if there are reviews of the booking agents, you'll have to search for that.

I got the fax with a removal number ... 888-260-9402 ... and it 'acts' like it works ... I guess only time will tell.
I've placed my 'dedicated fax' line on the "Do Not Call" list... I'm going to keep this fax and if I get another, I'm looking into suing for the abuse, since I attempted to stop it by following their instructions.  Don't know where it's going to go from here, but I'll report back if I have to try and find out about suing them.

I like the 'set my fax number to call their line several times a day' !!!

If you want to really get these people, find out why there are, a physical location, and then sue them out of existence.  The FCC rules allow for a right of individual action and if there were enough folks involved it would amount to a fair amount of money.  The fax I received said Bolivar marketing.

Best thing to do with these guys is get about 3 or 4 people and hide your caller id on your cell phone.  Then, have 4 or 5 five people keep calling their 800 number.  Put the phone on speaker, then mute, and just listen to how crazy you can make them.  They guy said since they get paid by the hour, he doesn't care.  The good thing is, is blocks their phones with useless calls and cuts into their revenue.

I saw this fax at the office fax machine and called . From the way the guy was speaking it definitely looked like hoax . only cheaters . they should be prosecuted . Thank god i called one of my friend and told him . He then sent me this link.

I got a fax at work from this company and called to ask details. The guy I spoke to seemed sincere and told us the only other fees would be booking fees, $50 per person and then any hotel tax fees. He never even asked for my credit card information, but he did insist if I call back to ask for him directly because they work on commission. I just really do not want to be scammed, but I do not have a high income to afford this vacations otherwise and I would love to be able to take my daughter to one of these locations. I dont mind if the fine print is crappy flight times and crappy travel dates, I just do not want to lose any money... has anyone else had a good experience with them?

Just a variation of the usual scam-- they keep faxing to workplace.

Do not use this company....Vacation destinations. DO NOT USE them!! I got this fax at work. A friend of mine at work has used them so I thought it would be safe. They took our money and booked a different trip asking for more money. And when you call to complain about it all you get is voice mails or transferred to phones that only ring!!! This was my birthday present to myself!! Great ;(  Check out the BBB for Houston Texas, this company has 47 compliants and I am filing a report with the police department.  They have to be stopped...

We receive these faxes on a regular basis and have called the number on their fax (888-259-9249) to be removed and yet we continue to get these faxes.  What can we do to have them stop faxing us?

it's a huge scam and I can't get them to stop wasting my fax ink and paper. wish I had their fax # but for now I set my Fax to dial their toll free # 1-888-960-3011 and fax their page in his ear several times a day.

Same junk fax as the rest of you folks.  Fake "removal" number listed is 888-960-3011.

For anyone naive enough to think these offers are legit, read Sincere's post and if you still think it's legit, call your bank and ask them what they think of the offer.

I called the number in all sincerity and asked what company they were representing, they said Nations. Asked me why I was calling from a blocked number, didn't know why it mattered and they said usually only people who were mad about the faxes called from blocked numbers. I thought that was strange but I said I really wanted to know so they put me on hold. Five minutes later they hung up on me. I tried back three times. The last time they transferred me to a repeating insult recording. That made it pretty clear to me it's a scam. Someone else tried it from an open number and hung up when they asked him for his checking account number. People are funny. A guilty conscience has jaded them so much they can't even pretend to care someone might be calling them legitimately.

Recieved this at work get these once a month.  How do we stop them the number does not work.

he was very helpful when i called. i asked a bunch of questions about doing a destination wedding with cheap vacations like this. he even told me how they came up with them to sell to the public. i called them after receiving a fax.

Called our home phone trying to sell discounted vacation packages.  Before they gave any details on the package in question, asked for Credit card number and PIN right away.   I hung up as I felt it was a scam.
