I just got the same letter today in the mail telling me they've been trying to contact me and this is their last attempt and if they don't hear from me by November 6th, they'll issue the vouchers to an alternate. It says my tickets are worth $1,399.00! What a buncha caca!! I immediately came online and did a search and found this forum....so glad to see I'm not the only one with this. The phone number they're telling me to call is: 888-964-6805. Letter came post marked from Phoenix, Az. with no return address and is signed by Monika Boggs, Vice President. By the way, I like the "fancy way" she signed her name! LOL!!

Got a letter on a US Airlines letterhead stating that I've qualified for an award of 2 roundtrip airline tickets. According to the letter, they've attempted contacting me several times without success. What a bunch of crap!

I called the number only to confirm my doubt. A reputable company such as US Air will not write or send mails to the public without 1) A letter head they are known and 2) without company address

Scam-o-matic. Not the first time I've seen this letter. This is a new phone number, though.

It is a federal offence to use the US Postal Services in fraudulent ways. You should bring this letter to the attention of the Inspector General of the US Post Office. Do not delay. These crooks need to be locked up.
