They've been calling for months, but never said for whom, and i finally got a live person to answer the call-back number today. They looked up my number and turns out they were calling for my half sister's ex-husband who never lived here. Explained to them they divorced in 1983, and my sister died in 1999. Don't even know if this guy is still alive. They apologized profusely and removed my number from their system.

This number keeps calling me & each time is a different person saying that there's a legal matter in their office that needs my attention right away, to contact them or my attorney as soon as possible. I don't pick up calls I don't know whose calling. Someone has got to di something with all these scsmmers out there. Ive reported to the State Attorney's Office, the FTC dept & put a flag on my Social Security Number. Filed police report as well but there's not much they can do about it yhey day. But they did tell me that the complaints they get are growing each day more & more.

I got the same message! I have no idea who they are or why they called my WORK voicemail. They didn't say my name so perhaps it was for someone else. I don't owe any taxes....
| anonymous 2014-04-03 16:10:51 Unknown |
What they have done is purchased your old pay day loan from an agency. It is highly illegal. They will yell and call names. I sent a certified letter and asked them to explain the debt I owe. They never signed the return receipt. They were very cagey! So they are trying to scam you. They will take your money and then the original creditor will never be paid.

Got a voicemail from 901-317-1119 (caller id). The number that was given on the voice mail was 1-888-966-6016. The man did not give his name, who he was trying to contact, or what company he worked for. I called the number because I work for a payroll department and I get a lot of calls for garnishments and such. The number stayed busy. I called the 901-317-1119 number (which is a local number for me), and it said the number was no longer in service. They will get an earful from me if they call me back. They have no reason to call me as I do not have any past due debts, and I have been working for my company for 7 years. Unless someone gave them the wrong number, this is a scam of some sorts.

I got a message from this # stating Vonetta Sanders, Frontier Financial, ext. 531 asking me to call back about a matter that would concern me. Tried repeatedly, I get cut off, etc. Pretty clear that it's a scam of some sort.

They have called a number of phones within my team alone. I don't think they realize that they are actually calling IRS phones. I really hope to actually answer the call sometime.

Tammy Smith was the rudest person that I have EVER dealt with. They started calling me out the blue. Initially I was glad to receive the call because I wanted to resolve the debt but after thinking about it I decided no I'm not paying it until I receive something from this company. They had my wrong address from 4 yrs ago. Tammy said I should have updated it w/ the post office. Well dummy I did 4 yrs ago. She emailed my private info to the wrong email & blamed me. She is a grade A b!tch. I'm paying them ASAP! If my identity is stolen due to her neglect, I will be suing them.

Yep, frontier financial

I already know how to get money without having to pay it back. Just buy a cheap recorder, spend a little time, call an "ambulance chasing" consumer attorney & have him file suit on a fraudulent debt collection outfit. "Bing-Bang", a couple of months later a check for a few hundred bucks arrives in the mail. And I have no delinquent debt, so I've always been able to look at myself in the mirror!
Skeff Ett Liv!

Got two robo-calls from this number with no message, but I agree with the above that it is a scam from "Frontier Financial", which had some numbers shut down and now is

these "companies" who call stating that they will be serving you with legal papers at ou home or place of employment are nothing more than scammers. if they were a reputable company, they would disclose the name of the company and not make threats of leagal action. Threats which are against the law--

Called family members saying they needed to contact me in reference to an "unauthorized" debit on my account. How they got these numbers I don't know but, if they have my "account info", then why don't they call ME? When I call the number back some "Ms. Davis" wanted my personal info. When I said no, and asked what this was about, she started yelling at me to give my personal info or she would have the police serve me papers. So, you don't know MY number, want to ask me about an "unauthorized" charge on my account but then yells at me? How do you not have my number but know where to send the police? Hahahaha. get a life. The police don't "serve" you with civil paperwork when there is an "unauthorized" charge to YOUR account you moron! SCAM PHISHING!!!!
| Kim 2013-10-17 21:27:21 Unknown |
How do you know if these people are legit. Just wondering if you owed someone money wouldn't they try to get a hold of you. I do not remember doing anything with frontier financial. Worried about going to court seeing as how I have no money being unemployed.

I received a phone call from someone named "Validy", or at least this is the name I think she said. At any rate, she didn't say who she was trying to reach only that she was calling from Frontier Financial Group and that I needed to call her back regarding a matter in my county that possibly pertained to me. Umm, really!! She date stamped the call and let me a case # and oh at the end of the call mentioned that this was an attempt to collect a debt. I am currently covered under the bankruptcy law and she shouldn't be contacting me, but furthermore, I don't even know what this is about. So, I called the number back and it rings like 3 times and then there's just dead air, no one picks up it doesn't give you the option to punch in an ext. or anything. How ligitimate is this company!!! I looked up the company Frontier Financial Group with the BBB and they get an "A" rating, this clearly is not the same company!

Its one thing to call my house, but don't call my cell. My cell is for personal use. If I wanted to handle business, then I'd have a business phone.

Started getting calls from this same "Frontier Financial" - they leave a message about trying to collect a debt, and that they contacted me on such and such date, etc.. all left in a voicemail which has nothing to identify who owns it. These guys are more of the scum that have sprung up the last couple of years using stolen or purchased information to try to collect uncollectable debts using scare tactics. Frankly, they should be jailed

they called twice but the first part of the message is always cut off. then at the end they tell you they are from frontier financial. they are looking for someone who has not worked at our company in 2 years. they said they listed the work company as a second contact number for them which I don't believe. so they are looking to get some money from someone. these people bought the loan from companies who they took out money from and now trying to get their money back pulse then some. and the phone number that shows up is not the correct number you have to call the 888-966-6016 to speak with a live person

Recieved a call from this company on many occasions at my office phone. Thankfully they were all sent to VM which goes to my email so I have the date/time with their recording. They continue to state they are trying to collect on a payday loan from National Payday and they have all of my information as well las my banking information. I have asked 2 things on 5 different occasions with them...
1. Provide me written verification of the debt
2. Stop calling my office
They have not complied with either request but instead have said they are assuming I'm refusing to pay this debt(which isn't mine to start with) and are moving forward with employment and financial verification. How do I stop these scam artist....they have clearly broken the federal laws in regards to lending by not providing written verification and continuing to call my office
