I just got the same threatening phone call. Told him to send me something in the mail. Said I would be receiving a visitfrom a process server! I told him thanks. He said he would see me in court! I said great. Lol

When calling number i get music playing

I got a call me this number stating there from Chex System Audit. But like you said that fishy cause when you call the real Chex System it takes you to a computerized system. When the guy told me I had till August 13th before they serve me papers and I needed to pay him like today. I told him I was contacting my attorney and needed to look into this further. He wished me luck and hung up on me. Seriously! I have way to many scammers in the last past a year, and just really sick and tired of it. How do this people get your information?

These guys are fakes, so I decided to have a little fun at their expense. These guys just started calling me today, but there was another one that was trying to harass me over the same supposed debt. So, I decided to call them back.

Except, what I did was block my number, call them back, then call the other agency. Mute my phone, merge the calls, and listen to the magic happen. If there was any doubt, both numbers are collection agencies (which the phonies will often deny to a regular customer) and they were confused as to how each got on the other's dialer. Too bad, so sad, I suppose.

Got a call out of the blue this morning, no message....out of curiosity called back from a different phone, it was just answered "Chex Systems".........I find it fishy that a "reporting agency" would call me.
