Listed with these clowns and my 90 days was up on Jan 4th.  Jumped through all the hoops an sent all the required documents in.  I was told on Feb 20th that my request was sent to a third party to process and that they were really busy, should have this processed by Feb 24th.  Still waiting for my refund.  Now they don't even answer the phone.  It just goes to voice mail.

Has anyone had success getting their refund back?  I have heard people talk about their cars being sold, which I can see because they do actually list on many sites, but nothing about getting the refund back.  Does anyone know of any way to bring legal action to this company?  From previous posts it seems like a Dade Brandon is the website developer.  Maybe we can start there.

DO NOT LIST WITH VEHICLE STARS.
8+ Months Later.
Car never sold, not even one phone call about it.
No refund, probably wont ever get one.
It is garbage, total scam.
Any one who says different is working for the company.
TRUST ME, SAVE YOUR $500 or YOU WILL NEVER SEE IT AGAIN!!

Oh no, I am trying to get my money right now and have spent the legalaties as well, I have filed a dispute with my credit card company, I hope they can help did you try that, and by the way do you think they use false names, because I get the same voice all the time, and he gets more ignorant as you call asking about your refund? We all need to start letting people and better business bureaus know about these guys! I am trying right now>

So far I haven't got my money back, but I started to file a dispute with my credit card company, hopefully they can help. I will keep you posted we need to get it out there that they are not legitimate people to deal with. Notify everything you can that will get it out there. I have already put a warning on Kijiji, hopefully a lot of people see it and I am going to try craigslist as well as the Better Business Bureau!

I have sent all the requirements about 5 weeks ago to vehicle stars, and called to see about my refund, I was aggressive myself because I know what they are about now. The man on the other end  called me a real bad name, I am determined to save people from this company and determined to get my money back,   I have kept a receipt of all my requirements for them including my mailing date. I really hope my credit card company can help me get my money back and they said they investigate every company after a disspute? I hope so. I would like to reach as many people and organizations to shut this trickery down or make them become more legitamate.  Please pass this on and possibly we could put a warning on craigslist>

?Vehicle Stars ACTUAL ADDRESS is located on Columbia St, in West Minister British columbia. When you send your ?90 DAY MONEY BACK GUARANTEE FORM? To the specified address in FORT LAUDERDALE, FLORIDA (THIS ADDRESS IS FOR A UPS STORE) The UPS store then forwards your letter to Vehicle Stars in BC. By the time they ACTUALLY receive your letter that was ?notarized? etc, it is way past the 7 day grace period after the 90 days are up. So in return, you DO NOT get your money back. BEST BET: CALL VEHICLE STARS, and state to them that you KNOW their actual address is on Columbia St, in West Minister BC and you will be posting ALL OVER THE WEB that they are a scam, and threaten them that you will be sending your lawyer to their actual address if they do not refund your money. They would be best to co-operate at this point.

The date that is looked at is the post marked date from when it was sent to the Fort Lauderdale address, not the date received by the refund department.

VEHICLESTARS.COM IS THE BIGGEST SCAM!!! I was the sucker you took the offer thinking it was gonna help me sell my car, eventhough I knew it was too good to be true.. the sales rep (Cody Campbell) 'garaunteed' me that he will be able to sell my vehicle within a week of advertisement.  Long story short, they found soo many way to deny my refund and at the end I lost $50.00 getting my doc certified on top of the $500.00 spend on advertising through Vehiclestars.com

Please don't make the same mistake I made.. THEY WILL FIND ANY EXCUSE NOT TO REFUND

and worse part is they wont provide any contact info for their legal, refund or managment department.  Its stricly through the 1-888 number you call.

Hey. You should try contacting your credit card company if you followed all their terms and conditions to a tee. They should be able to either dispute it as "credit not received" or "service not rendered."

You should NOT be calling people who have clearly listed in their posting no solicitations of any kind...so don't call when it states no solicitations of any kind.

We were contacted after putting our vehicle on Craigslist. Told about the 499.00 cost with the refund of 399.00 if the vehicle wasn't sold in 90 days. The refund policy that I looked up has 5 conditions that must be met, including a notarized copy of your registration, and sending it within 10 days via registered mail, among other things. I don't believe that a legit company would make you get a notarized copy and send it registered mail. Either they sold it for you or they didn't. If they didn't then you should get a refund. Sounds like a scam to me.

Hey Tyrone I spoke to you on the phone and you were just as rude and uninformative and unprofessional as was your MANAGER(who had no idea what web sites that your company advertised on)!!  And when you said you would have the person in charge of our vehicle call us back?  Well, they didnt!  So folks...ask yourself this..
Would you want to do business with unprofessional people who cant even be pleasant and kind to the people who have hired them?  Is this who you would want doing any sort of business on your behalf??
And how can anyone have any sort of a successful business if they dont call their customers back?
If they wouldnt call us, the ones that paid them, do you really think they'll call the ones who didnt pay them?  Not likely!

If you sell the care without them you still have to pay. That's what they didn't tell me till after I was locked in. Now I can't list on any other services.

Their analytics rating are not that good and they don't have that many links to them. Their SEO sucks frankly.

Don't use them it's a rip off. You pay them if you sell your car to your next door neighbor.

They don't even want a percent if they sell your car, you agree to pay them even if you sell your call through another service. It is very slimy.

And if you tell them to cancel the service even after only 2 days they will not give you your money back until the 90 days are up if your car did not sell. Plus their web site is just lame and has poor search engine rankings. They are a joke.

my 90 days period is over , not even a single call during the period by the company or the buyers. I have send them the notarize copy paid for the register mail. called them but they told me that i will get an confirmation after 4 weeks and another 8 to 12 weeks for the money back, if all the document are as per their satisfaction, this was not told to me earlier when they were making their sales call pretty and nice and so easy, and i am also not very sure that they are going to return my money ...please do not have any dealing with them ....i have been in so much stress since i have dealt with them, it is so true that they are so shady.

Hey "Shawna",
I don't believe you. I don't believe that you do not work for Vehicle stars or that you are not someone else posing as a satisfied consumer. Vehicle Stars is a scam and who do you think believes that you advertised your car for 20k and got 25? Why the hell would someone pays you 5K more? Bc they felt like they were taking advantage of you? Bc there were multiple ppl bidding on your car? Or bc your post is a lie, and you really work for vehicle stars? The last scenario makes sense to me.
