403-264-8600 Jarine Lloyd Thompson Canada is a fraudulent company they are suppose to be a brokerage firm.   I don't believe that anyone should do business with them.  They also do not pay there creditors.  The main Contact that I dealt with is Barbara Rae, Ricki is extremely unprofessional, I suggest that you go else where.

Just got a call from these people on my cell phone and they said they were from the Canadian Business directory and they just were looking for payment for our advertisement in their directory, told them I had no idea what he was talking about and they would not recieve a penny from me. He said he would look into it and get back to me. SCAMMMMMMM. My husband who runs the business is constantly after me thinking that we DO owe these people money and I am late on payments.

I also keep getting phone calls from other companies, I was told by the girl at Global, to google all phone numbers of all the company's that I am dealing with,  that I would be able to see the legit company this is how I came across this page, and wanted to share my experience  

As a non profit organization I found the price of the advertisement extremely expensive, I contacted the company, I dealt with a very friendly lady she was able to get the invoice brought down to a non-profit rate, (discount of $100) and even offered a better discount if paid by credit card.  I explained that I didn't feel comfortable given my personal credit card info out.  I was informed that they do not take the information, that they only send a link, and I would be able to enter all of my info through a paypal link.  I found this extremely helpful because I was able to benefit from the discount and keep my info private.  I also received the cd rom, found it extremely user friendly.

Received call today asking us to pay $800 and some odd dollars for advertising for a business that has not advertised in four years and is no longer running.  When asked what service they provide the answer was they put advertisement on cd-rom for customers. Really? These people need to stop calling.

888-987-3896 "American Business Directory" calls.  I ask the "lady" on the other end to remove us from her list.  She stated that's why she was calling.  To check if we would like to remain in their directory or if we would like our final invoice sent!  We don't do business with them, never did but she acts like I owe her some cash!  When did we become a nation of CRIMINALS!  Why can't the FTC shut these companies down and prosecute the operators faster.  Then send the message to the media that we are not putting up with this anymore.  A nation of CRIMINALS! That's what we've become!

This company called to say that I  owe for  an advertising charge for an ad  that I did not  place.
