This number calls me multiple times a day and every day for the past two months... Someone make i sstokp!

I asked what company they were calling from, he...just like someone else said: "actually I'm calling from home for fun...and its serendipity and the stars have aligned for you" I said remove my number from your list.  The guy said you probably filled out something you shouldn't have online, and that's how I got your info.  He claims to have removed me from his mailing list.

I do not know who this is calling me, but they call multiple times per week and leave silent messages.

I received a call from this number. I answered and said how can I help you. The guy said Well you can start by being polite. Then he started trying to be funny and was saying Oh, I see you are from Puerto Rico, can you say some thing to me in Spanish? That creeped me out! I just said bye and hung up. But seriously, this company is freaky and I wish they would stop calling.

I recieve a call from this number at least once a week, and it is becoming annoying. I have only answered once, and it seemed as if no one was on the other end.

Got a call from this number, dude sounded foreign. When I asked who was this, he replied "No One" and hung up. It's like they're not supposed to tell you who they are or something, which not only is stupid but illegal.

888-988-4723  ----  They called me.  I said, "May I please ask who is calling?"  They RUDELY answered, "The caller ID didn't tell you? Ha!"  They were such a***oles.  What a dream job... being someone new's unwanted caller of the day.

Hey guys I believe these are the third party people from school websites. I have gotten calls 2 times each semester and they always asked if I requested school info. I'm assuming it's from some site for scholarships or something and some company calls everyone.

Last time they said that I requested info through Fastweb so idk.

This number calls me a few times a month.  I was finally by my phone to answer, but it immediately hung up on me.  Here's my biggest issue, when I don't answer my cell phone, my voicemail icon shows up.  When I call voicemail, my voicemail is empty.  The icon won't go away for weeks no matter what I try to do to clear it.  I don't get the point of calling.  If they don't want to talk or leave a message, then why bother?  And yes, I've recently applied for school, financial aid, and a couple of scholarships.  So it sounds like we are on the right path on figuring out the general source for the call.

Just got a call from this number asking if I had requested information about colleges and I said no, not really. He asked if I was thinking about doing anything different in the next year and I said no and he said they'd take me off their list. I don't know who they are or what they want. I'm currently in school and looking at graduate programs, but not for the immediate future. Not sure how they got my number.

Same thing. I got a call asking if I requested information about school. I asked who they were, they avoided the question, I asked what company they were calling from, he said, "actually Im calling from home for fun" I responded with "how about you remove my number from your list, for fun?!" he said he would call back as much as he liked and hung up. That is not legal I did not request information about school and I didnt answer his question as to whether or not I am enrolled.

They just call me too and I called back. Ringing and they will not pick it up.

Received calls from this number and when answering it, I got a recording saying that 'the person' had just hung up!  I tried calling that number back but it just rings.  This has happened a number of times this past week.

They called my cell phone and of course out of curiosity I answered it. They're from some kind of college registration place. My little boy was attempting to win an ipad and when asked for phone numbers he of course typed in both the house and my cell numbers. I started laughing when they asked to speak to him and I told them he's 11.

They have called my cell 5Xs today alone. I WANT THIS TO STOP. Can you help me?

888 988 4723 called my cell phone at 10:52, 11:20, 11:45, 12:21, 12:57.  on August 16, 2011 and I suspect they will call again. They do not leave messagse and I will not answer. I am registered with do not call and wonder how and why this can continue to happen.

I get at least 2 phone calls a day from this number. There's never anyone on the line.

They call my cell phone and leave no message. They call 2-4 times daily. What a pain. They have not identified the company.

what makes you think it might be a marketing company? when I call it a recording comes on the number is not a good number.

someone calling from 1 888-988-4723, tried to call it back and get a message the number is not good. number comes up on the caller id, rep from company does not advise company calling from, wont leave a message.   my son's id stolen and we are getting calls from companies never have done business with.

5 times ..in one day.....next time I'm answering, if you catch my drift.  >.<  They also tried from a different number as well 888-455-0163.

They call from this number if answer hang up.  If answer machine picks up they hang up.  I wish they would quit calling.  I also got a call wanting to know if I want to go back to school as well.  They need to leave people alone.  I am on a do not call list but it never stops.

I tried to call the number back and got the message "Your call could not be completed as dialed."
