I got this a little while ago: Congratulations on your complimentary cruise for two! Call for details 706)_608_4549. I have not signed up for anything and by the look of these posts,it seem like a scam!

Then I asked him what's his company's name, then he hung up on me.

I got a text from the 888 number too. Where can we go report them?

I got a text message from 111-044-0601 saying for me to call this number (888-991-8230).  The message said I "won a FREE . . ." with nothing following it, and that I should call.  Not going to happen!

Received two messages at 11:47pm EDT that read as follows:

One from 942-666-01:
"A Yahoo! usrer has sent you a message.Reply to that SMS to respond. Reply INFO to this SMS for help or go to "y.ahoo.it/imsms."

Next message from the same
"naomiharrell576: Greetings you achieved a 3 day cruise no-cost call us now8889918230 confirmation # 6436"


This comes after I had selected brackets for college basketball a couple of weeks ago  but I also did a poll for newsmax earlier in the evening Tuesday, and used my yahoo email address...I also forgot to sign out but I do not have my phone number associated with that account, so I'm thrown for a loop.

Just got a text from them. same MO. I had my old yahoo account get hacked yesterday. any chance this is related?

I got this message ALSO from this number: (229) 429-6652 saying to call the 888 number. Darn, I wish I really did win, but from the look of these comments, it's not legit. I wouldn't dare call back without looking it up first. Apparently from the caller ID, the person is from Georgia... and on the google maps thing attached it had a picture of some old looking building. I wonder how these people get my phone number; I never give it out to anyone but my close friends and family.

Either way; they're not getting any info from me what-so-ever.

Got a spam about winning cruise from 2605737491 and asks call to this number.

Definite SCAM

They texted me from a 312 number. I reported them to FCC. 2nd offense you get $500. I also reported them to FBI and local police.

Received same text message I won but have not entered in to any drawings!! SCAM for sure!

"Norm" is one of the crooks behind this scam, posing as a "satisfied customer" in order to try to lure in victims.

So there really is a free cruise when you pay the tax? Which cruise line and where did you go? I might try it...

They called me saying they were offering a free cruise but I don't remember signing up for one. Sounds a bit scammy to me.

did you guys try this . I went down, the catch is they wanted me to drink and gamble, that's what I didn't do and my cruise was free. except for the $59.00 federal boarding taxes  that I paid

I got a text from them telling me i won a cruise for two #29 i thought it was real for a minute but than again how would i lol SPAM :(

I also just got a text claiming that I just won a free cruise for two. And to call 888-991-8230.

Text came in from 404-988-5685 telling me I won a cruise for two and to call 888-991-8230.

So, what you're all saying is that I didn't win a cruise for two, either?  lol    Darn!

Yes!  There is a law!  The do not text list is linked to the do not call list.  Make sure your number is registered, then you can report spam text messagers with the FCC.

Got a txt msg stating I was a cruise, I don't remember I entered a drawing. Isn't there laws against these types of things??
