9:30 am.  Harassing calls throughout day.  I do not know the person they are calling and asked them to stop calling many times. Stated his name as Ricardo, 888-998-3413

Claimed they are a branch of the bank I go to. They keep calling my house and not leaving any messages on my machine as well as calling me at work where I only have so many minutes to talk on the phone a day. They were claiming they wanted to verify my address and phone number so they can put me down for a payment on my credit card because the payment is past due eventhough I had already made a payment a couple of days before the due date.

If they are a debt collector, by federal law they CANNOT talk to anyone about the debt except for the person who owes the debt or their legal representative.  So until you could verify that you were/are the person who owes the debt they are not able to speak to you about anything.

THE FAIR DEBT COLLECTION PRACTICES ACT, as amended by Pub. L. 109-351, §§ 801-02 , 120 Stat. 1966 (2006) is the statute that you should look at.  That law was passed on account of debt collectors calling people (like neighbors and employers, etc.) and talking trash about the person who owed the debt.

A debt collector has the right to try to collect their money.  Just like you do if someone owes you money.  So they will call around trying to get ahold of the person who owes the money.

When i called them they said that they were a collections company working for bank of america.

This company just called me from 888-998-3414 saying they were representing "Card Services" and wanted me to give them all my personal info on the premise that they wanted to "verify" who I am.  They would tell me nothing until I gave it to them.  I told them I had no idea who they were, but I was NOT going to give out any personal info until they told me the nature of the call.  They refused and gave me the supposed "supervisor" who said he was "Josh Cordova".  He would tell me no further info either.  Said for me to call 888-998-3413 and they would give me all the info.

The background noises sounded like a well oiled scam operation.  I am finding the ranges of of phone numbers and blocking them and also reporting them to the Texas Attorney General as this type of call is illegal in Texas.  According to Texas law they must identify themselves and tell me the nature of the call.  They refused.

Beware.

When asked why nature of call to family member who no longer lives at my residence, they refused to say except it was impt he call them.  They have called on multiple occasions.

I have been getting calls from this company for a few weeks now stating that I need to pay on my credit card.  I do not have a credit card through them and do not trust someone calling that isn't from my company.  They contact me at work and I know that I never gave my credit card company my work number.  Unfortunately, before I figured this out I paid $50 over the phone to them.  Looking at my credit card payments to date, there has NEVER been a $50 payment made.  I am very irate at this point.  They just called my work again.  Please do something to make it stop! And if possible, I want my $50 back.  Thank you

My business has repeatedly received calls for someone who doesn't work here and never has.  We have requested repeatedly that they stop calling our number because we do not know that person.  They always tell us they'll remove the number from their records but they keep calling.  I finally got fed up one day and asked to speak to the caller's manager.  The man they transferred me to, Richard, said they are FIA Card Services and gave me the nubmer 1-888-998-3413 as the contact number.  He assured me we would be taken off of their contact list.  I told him if we heard from FIA again, we would file a complaint.  They called again, so I went to https://www.ftccomplaintassistant.gov/ and filed a complaint.  I suggest that others do so as well so that this business cleans up its practices.

I just got a call from them. The woman on the phone had a very heavy accent. She said that my husbands visa was not paid and I could stop these calls if I paid right now. She would not tell which visa, what company or her name. She just said I could pay now. I told her no, I wasn't at the office and my husband was not home, so she would have to wait until tomorrow. She was persistant in getting me to pay right now and I kept telling her no. I asked for a number to call back on and this is the number she gave.

Interestingly, they called on my cel phone, and it came up as unavailable.

CALL YOUR CREDIT CARD COMPANY ONLY by the number on your statements or back of your card!!!!!!!!!

I have been getting calls from this company.  It starts at o800 and goes until 2300.  Most of the time there is no response on their end, occasionally there are people whoes accent I can not understand.  Twice I have had someone  tell me if i would pay my bills they would not call me, yet I do not what company they represent.  

I have reported them to my phone company, who has put a block on this number.  However, i have since found out this company has numerous numbers, and the calls keep continuing.

I got this number from the person who called me.   The caller ID is "incoming call" and is not picked up in my missed calls in Comcast phone service. This company calls me 8:30 each morning and from 5 to 10 times thereafter until aroung 9:30 at night. I stopped answering the phone and played the radio to them.   Nothing seems to change the calls.  They are looking for Rita Miles who I don't know. They called me at another house years ago before I moved here, and somehow they have started again. I kept my same phone number when I moved.  The last call I got I decided to talk to them and "Ethan Jackson" gave me this number but somehow asked me to listen to some message about Mastercard.  What the Hay?
