I laughed at them so loud when they called saying that they were from the Quebec government... and spoke IN ENGLISH!!!

The 1800 number keeps calling.  An Ethan from the California branch... but even changed the name of the 'business'!!

Keeps calling no matter what we tell them.  All of our representatives are now hanging up on them.

Lady with strong accent calling from State of Florida to know when our business is relocating...just BS, waste of time. Companies that collect info in order to sell it to marketers.

If you tell them that you are moving, very shortly you will start receiving calls from many people wanting to sell you moving services, furniture, telephone systems and photocopiers for your new office.
I tried it once to see what would happen.

Caller asked if we had found a new location (we moved 18 months ago) when I told him we had moved told me to have a nice night and go suck some d*ck tonight, I am appalled and revolted by this abuse of business line.

I received the same call several times.
The best way to deal with IMHO is putting them on hold forever.

What I would like to know, is who wants this "moving" information. A moving company? Real Estate?

I wish I knew so I can play them accordingly (sometimes I need to smile at work).

This number said they were the State of New Jersey Business Development department and left a number to a car dealership.  What was worse is you could barely understand the thick accent.

Received a call from this number.  He said he was calling from Shermack Design. Had a accent which made it hard to understand the caller.  He asked if I was still planning to move.  Huh?  Told them I was not planning on moving.  And they hung up.  I am putting the number on my annoying caller block list so they do not call again. I think it is some kind of data service that sells future move info to list brokers for real estate ect.

Received call from 889-777-1117 on my business line. No message. Thanks to a quick google search while the phone was still ringing, I found this website and so did not answer.
By the way, phone scammer's computers keep track when you pick up the phone for these annoying calls, and sell your number to more scammers. They make money (and you'll get more calls) even if you've never bought a single thing over the phone in your life.

they keep calling our office to ask if we are moving.  we've told them every time to remove us from the list and they keep calling us! daily!

Another one here - this one said he was calling from "State Dept of Michigan."  About our business in Arizona. *shrug* Asked to be removed from list; not holding my breath.

I got a similar call from the "Alberta Business Development Branch" claiming to want our new business address. When I asked, "where did you get this information?," they hung up.

I got call on April 17, 2013 in the afternoon....Same stuff but told me that she is calling from Gov of Alberta, Canada

Same as everyone else. He said he was from the State of Colorado Office of Economic Development. He hung up when I pressed him for details.

This people have been calling since almost 2 years ago with the same question. They want to know if we have found a place (office) and if we already moved. We have been telling them that we moved and asked them to remove our number from their list.

Yup pretty much the same thing as everyone above except from "the State of Colorado".  My work has received this call so many times, that this time I tried to get them to answer questions before I answered.  The guy just hung up on me.  I tried calling the number back, but it was disconnected.

Guy with a foreign accent called saying he was from the State of California,  Office of Economic
Development.  Wanted to know if we received the paperwork yet?  And were we going to be moving?
Said I didn't know, call back tomorrow.  I smell a Rat!
When I called the number I got a voicemail asking me to leave a message.
Sounds like scammers everywhere!

Just received a call from this number...couldn't understand what the woman said other than "did your move go okay? are you all settled in"  Our business has been in the same location for 25 years so I just hung up and immediately received another phone call from the same number with a woman fake-crying on the other end.

just got a call from this number indicating he was Kevin for the City of Salem Business Association and said our information was flagged that we were moving.  weird

Not sure what they do but, as soon as I got curious about what they want and how they found me, they hung up.

Got same call from 889-777-1117, said she was from the state of IL located in Chicago, sounded from India... don't know what scam is but told them we weren't looking at moving... and she said thank you and hung up... Wierd...

These people called, claiming to be from the business development services, wanting to know if we found a new place. When I reminded her that this was the second call today and to stop calling we are not moving, she proceeded to call back 6 times and hang up when we answered the phone. We are running a business here.

I told them we were moving...we'll see what happens next, then she tried to get me to answer when, I wouldn't answer that she called multiple times to get the information

I receive these calls 5 times a week.  Missouri State of Business Development.  I am going to start answering yes we are moving....just to see what solicitations I receive after that.  Then I will know who hired them to do telemarketing.

I mean these folks are not making calls just to make calls.  They are hired by someone to get a 'YES'.

I've gotten calls from them for years, I mean years. Have had my same number and been in the same office for over 31 years and they call here about once a month, doesn't do any good to tell them to quit calling.

Indian accent claiming his name is Kevin Baker with the State of Texas.  I cut him off and said do not call our office anymore and hung up on him.
