Didn't answer this call.  Don't recognize the number and I'm on pay as you go and don't feel like paying 80 Cents per minute to answer.

Looks like a call center that a cell phone dealer is using to call landline and cell numbers associated to legit cell accounts.  They identify themselves as one of your carriers and proceeds to offer you some loyalty offer.  The offer may be real but the company calling is NOT your phone carrier.  It has been reported that some unethical dealers have been illegally using the customer service databases to generate cold call lists.

BTW - they can be persistent, sometimes multiple times a day not unsual.

Got a call from this number offering me a free cell phone with a newly activated number.  When I said I wanted the phone but on one of my numbers they hung up on me.

Sept. 15. I have received three calls that when answered there was no response.  No caller ID was posted.  These must be random calls since my cell number is private and available to only selected people.

I didn't answer when they called me (twice) because I didn't recognize the area code and I've read on the Internet a lot of people are having problems with that number.

Got a call on Sunday at 7:45 who told me I won a free Samsung m501 (a phone which Bell is not carrying) and could ship it too me in 5 business days. They asked what my monthly spending was.

I told them about $80 and then he quickly went into a sales pitch explaining I would get a 3 year contract and have 3 months free and offered me a package which Bell does not offer. I asked him for his name and empolyee code he didn't say anything and I said I wasn't interested. Good bye.

Thanks for all the info everyone. Got a call today, saturday, at 5pm. I get all kinds of calls purporting to be Bell.

Received two calls on cell phone from this number on Sat. Oct 18th.   Because it's a company-issued cell phone I did not answer.  Checking all my contact files I could not find any similar phone numbers and checked this website for info.  I suspect it is an old scam where they gather info and either make long distance calls with your number or request money.

Received a call from this phone number on my cell phone.  No idea how they got my number.  Did not answer the call as I did not recognize the number.  Would like to have it reported though.

Rude guy called saying they are from Bell Canada (not Bell Mobility) and are running a "promotion" of a free cell phone.  I asked why Bell Canada is doing this and not Bell Mobility.  I knew it was a scam.  Can this be reported to some type of fraud investigative agency.  This should be illegal.  I questioned them so much, they got frustrated and hung up on ME.

they called me twice yesterday...once at 1:30pm and once at 8:30pm its so annoying WTF do they want and how do they get our numbers? you would think your cell phone providers would keep that confidential...whatever.

I got a call from this number last night around 9:00.  I didn't answer as I don't give my cell # out... WTF?

I received 4 calls from this number today during work hours. I did not answer but each time it rang it rang for a few minutes before I picked up and hung up right away. It was really annoying!

Received a call from 1-891-883-0001. Person said he was calling from Bell Canada.  I never give my cell phone number out to anyone but family so I wish Rogers my cell phone provider would not sell their numbers to outside agencies.

a call from the number with much background noise. a guy with weird accent said he is from Bell mobility and something I didn't hear. I ended the talk, then he called again. Just ignore it.

This number has called my cell continuously never leaves a message and apparently isn't a valid number pisses me off would love for it to stop
