How about the number 900-080-0034 and then 98? Sex games or Verizon notification?

Thanks,

Do not go to that site on the text-call Verizon asap- its a scam- This just happened to me and I want all of you to know it won't happen to you- my Verizon Wireless account was taken over and devices were replaced but on my number>> and they started calling CUBA!! 19 calls in an hour! The fraud dept. said it happens when you receive a text or email "seemingly" from Verizon to log on to your my Verizon account- and when you log-on they capture your account! So- if you ever get an email or text saying to do that DON"T!! I would just call Verizon- they took care of it and actually had flagged my account because of all the calls to Cuba!! People make me sick- if they put as much energy into working for a living instead of stealing from other people then this would be a much better place- .

If this number does in fact belong to verizon, it's a scam by verizon because verizon bills me $0.20 for each message sent.

While I would still be suspect of any text message, I can say as someone who uses Verizon, they do at times send a text message that you are not charged for and it will be from a "900 0xx xxxxx" number. The message may be a promo, a confirmation for account or purchases, or have some data usage info.
It will always start: "FREE VZW MSG:"
The ones I used to get were:
"FREE VZW MSG: You are trending to incur substantial data usage charges on your account. We can help. Call 888-xxxxxxx for details. Reply Q 2 opt out"
Which was odd as I have a grandfathered in unlimited data plan. I called Verizon directly, not using the 888 number in text or replying to opt-out, and got it sorted out. It was just a bug on their end.

Contact Verizon directly to see if the message is really from them and what you can do to stop it.

Do you have any idea how to spell?  The word is "punctuation" - and except for a little bit of run-on, there are all kinds of commas, periods, even an exclamation point.  You must be this woman's sleazy boyfriend.

I've been getting two messages a month for quite some time now.  SInce my wife handles the bills, I didn't pay much attention.  The first message says an amount of $80.37 is due, the second a few weeks later says it's been deducted from my credit card, and then gives the last four digits of a credit card which I do own.  My wife called Verizon today, and was told that the whole thing is a fraudulent scam.  No money has ever been deducted fromt he subject credit card.

Once or twice each month this shows up saying my account has been billed varying amounts but normally $80.86 which is scheduled to be automatically  deducted from my checking account ending in the correct number. Who sends these?

Upon further investigating, this number, 900-080-003498 does belong to Verizon, and they were informing me that my bill had been deducted from my checking account...just like it's supposed to.  First time this 900 number has been used.

I beg to differ on the innocense of this number.  A few months ago, I remember people getting messages left even on their landlines to call a certain number and they were charged thousands of dollars for just calling.  Because it was from a different country, the US couldn't (wouldn't) do anything about it.  Bottom line - the people had to pay up.  You may want to take the chance, but not me.  Verizon messages always start with VZW.  They are scamming you into adding things to your phone, etc. just to get more of your information than they already have.  Can you say - EVIL!!!

Isn't it strange that I also received a call from a RESTRICTED number just seconds before receiving a text from this number.  I didn't answer it though.  They didn't even leave a message. Surprise!

Hi, I have a very sneaky boyfriend who has resorted to various type of ways to communicate to his crappy female friends and his latest is this digital locker.  I notice that this number, 900-080-0034  96 had text msg his cell phone.  So I starting looking into this further and I believe it's how you defined what a digital locker is used for.   So someone sends an email message to a person's digital locker and then that person retrieves that email via a private text message on their cell phone?  Do I have this right?  If I used his cell phone and called that 900 number and then pressed # and then 96 - I would be able to view those private messages?  I'm dying to find out because I'm tired of being lied to.

Thanks much!

I just got off the phone with Verizon wireless, those messages are marketing messages from Verizon that will not show up on your text detail on MyVerizon account ... and you can't stop them unless you call Verizon and ask them to put a (free) block on them, you can't do it from MyVerizon online.

I received a text message from 900-080-003496.  I rarely do text messaging as it is a per text charge for me.  However, before opening it I saw that it was a free text from Verizon.  The message was 'Welcome to VZ Navigator at $9.99/month! See www.vzw.com/navigator for terms and instructions".  I just got a phone upgrade so this is probably associated with that. I didn't knowingly set up this service so it may just be marketing.
