Called my phone twice, 2 hours apart. I tried to return call and both times message said it was "A NON EXISTANT NUMBER". Really? REALLY???

So I texted it the return massage read:
"6315421867 is a landline #. Reply Y to send all TXT messages to this # as voice messages for .025/msg. + std msg fee. Details @ vtext.com TexttoLandline"

Callback number registered as the same 631-542-1867, but incoming text header tagged the number of origin as 900-080-004222

Sent a text to a friend that I had not texted in a few months. Got a reply back that the number was a land line and if I replied to their text I could paid a fee (and standard charge) I could have it converted to voicemail. The reply originated from 900-080-004222. I obviously did not reply.

Keep getting texts from this number saying we are about to go over our call minute limit.  The web site they give is not legit.  vzwmobile.com.  A total scam.

just got a text message from 900-080-00400 saying I have used abt 90% of my anytime minutes for the bill ending on the 16th
I have never used over my minutes since I have had this phone  or plan

I have been trying ti replyto messages received reguarding GB's

how do we get rid of it

I just got a text from 900-080-004000 .  VZW Free Msg. This cell phone number is now unregistered from My Verizon. If you feel that this is in error, please call customer service.

I went to Verizon.  They were no help!  First called and followed their advice--go to web site and block.  I asked if that could be done with numbers greater than ten digits and they said yes.  Not so.  Then I went to Verizon guy in Best Buy.  He said it was an international number (first time I looked it up on Google it said it was from Turkey) and the solution was to block all international texts.  Have not done yet as have family member out of the country for two months.
Would love to get my hands on whoever is doing this.  Would roast that turkey--wherever it's from!

Message states that I have used 75% of my 4gb allotment and I rarely use my phone. At times I receive calls and conversations from someone  do not know. Crossed wires somewhere?  Please in vestigate.  George Sohn

Receiving message from 900080004007 at 3am in the morning and at various times of the day

Arrgghh!! Without thinking I called this number after receiving a text message that "my secret question and/or answer had recently been changed. If you did not request this call customer service." The number was preceded by 011, which I did not notice, but my carrier said my plan did not allow international calling. I'm going to my local Verizon Wireless shop anyway to check this out. I've deleted the message and my return call from their respective logs.

We've received at least 10 or 12 such calls in the past few wks.  The request is for $10/mo additional for extra gigabyte usage. Can this harrasment be stopped?  Thanks, MJ

I received several messages from this number about changes to my account and it turns out some jerk in Mississippi had changed almost everything in my account. I was on phone for over an hour with verizon trying to get everything back in order. DON'T IGNORE IT!

I called Verizon and the operator stated that it is spam and an international number.  Not to call it back because it could be a very expensive call.  Looks like they are signaling out cell phones.

I received a text message from 900-080-004222 around 5:00 am right after I sent a text.

I get messages from them every month. That is for notification for e-Bill viewing. And all the other computer generated notifies for your acct.

I received a text message from 7247631172 in turn sent my number back to me from 724 7623440 .A message from my number...??? How can it be reserved to receive 762 7631172 from myself ?

I just got a message from the 900-080-0040 and that one I can actually read. However the messages I keep getting from 900-050-0040 are just a bunch of numbers and letters. I tried to call verizon and I couldn't even talk to a real person.

I had a just made my Verizon payment to follow by a txt message from Verizon saying they received my payment the number that showed up was 900080004000 which is interesting I had no idea....LOL

Got the same "text", concerning how much "anytime" minutes had been used. Dont know if it is a scam or not, but it was a poorly written text so...

"VOICE USAGE: your acct used abt 75% of its Anytime Min for the bill ending on the 22nd. Monitor at vzwmobile.com/usg."

Our Verizon online customer service sent an FYI text from 900-080-004000 right after I set my security question and answer. It didn't ask for any information, it just confirmed that I had done that, which I had.

I keep getting a call from this caller for days, and maybe 3 -4 times a day.

The text came in at 5 AM....WTF was my text back.....but based on what I have read here its an automated text.

we just got an unsolicited text from these scammers too, and we are taking the advice of others and reporting these scammers to the fbi, ftc, and the police. there are too many crazy people out there to risk our lives and our children's lives. if you received anything from these frauds, please report them too. together, we can stop these criminals before they harm more people.

On 5/16/13 I got the same text.  I did NOT call.
