Hello please see my post below yours... call the phone company to put a 1900 block and try to contact Jagex (email address below in my post).  One of them should be able to refund you and find the culprit.

This is not a call that you receive, its a charge on your phonebill.  This number does not call you.

Calling this number is a method of payment for an online game called RUNESCAPE.  I have been an adult player on this game for 7 years.  From time to time I use the "pay by phone" method to pay for my monthly membership.  What happens is, you are given a space to type in your phone number (apparently don't have to be at the home where the number is) when you make the call you are given a code to input into the game to activate membership.   This web based game is owned by a company in the UK called Jagex.  I suggest you contact your phone company...as well as Jagex.  This way whoever is falsely using your phone number to provide their online fun, will most likely be dealt with on the Game end. Possibly losing their account for fraud. the email address for jagex is billingsupport@jagex.com. Tell them your situation.  They can trace your phone number straight to the game player and take action.  A good idea is also to put a 1-900 block on your phone.   And the Telephone company can help you get rid of the false charges.

I also think there is a way for having it billed to you, without it even coming from your phone.   So having a 1900 block on it would send up flags that someone falsely used your phone number saying it was theirs.  So if you are thinking someone is sneaking into your home especially if you don't have kids, there is a very good chance that's NOT what's happening.  

I'm sorry this has happened to those of you ... as I have said I am an adult player, and also a player moderator in the game.   These people/kids falsely putting in your phone number as theirs is wrong... contact Jagex, and hopefully they won't allow that player the option to "pay by phone" anymore, and even deal out temporarily banning them from the game or permanently.

I have the same thing on my phone bill, but I have 2 charges.  If you look it up on google under caller complaints, I have found where someone talks about it being a computer game sub. for 1 month @ 7.99.  The game is Runescape, something kids LOVE to play I am told.  Guess now the question is WHO would of played it, when I am then only one on this computer, and this ole lady sure doesn't play that game, I'd have no idea where to even start.  Just thought I'd pass this on, as maybe it will help others out.  I don't know for sure thats what it is, but thats just what someone said in caller complaints.  Have a great day, and wish there was someway we could stop this BS!!.....any ideas??????

My son thinks he may have dialed this number as tech support for Play Station 3.  When he called PS3 tech he couldn't understand the man & hung up. We're trying to recall what night he made that call...
