We have been billed 2 months in a row for this.  The calls are between 2:30 am-5:30 am, no one is at the store at that time.  I placed 900# blocks on the line so other than an 800# that reroutes to it I am hoping this is the end of this scam.

Received a bill from this number and certainly did not make the call.  The bill was for 7 mins. $24.85 from AmeriTel Services.  They could not be reached so am sending them a letter of dispute.

rec'd a bill from AmeriTel Services stating my phone number called 1-900-938-7877.  No one in my household made this phone call.  What can I do to dispute this?

Just received a bill from Ameritel Services for a call on 2/01/10 for 27 minutes to 900-938-7877 with #136.60 in charges.  No one was home to make this call.  Tried calling 1-800-373-3496 to dispute but after recording stated to hold, I was disconnected.

I also received a bill for $34.65 for 6 minutes to a 900# that was never made. Interesting that this is the same amount and minutes as the complaint above from Dec 9, 2007! I called, the man was VERY rude and said they would investigate and it would take 2 weeks. It's too late in the day now, but Verizon said they could check on any activity made on the day in question. Only two of us live here and neither one made the call. In fact, my husband was not even home and I certainly didn't make the call! If it helps, the 900 in question is 900-938-8336. I am DEFINITELY not paying the bill!

I got a bill from Ameritel for 143.55. My house was broken into on the same day that the calls were made. I was thinking, "why would someone break into my home, make 4 calls, and not take anything." Now I am wondering. The other 900 #'s were 900-938-2548, 900-938-8488, and 900-666-9999 just in case anyone else out there has this problem. I don't know what's going on.

I have recieved a bill for $84.15 and no one from my home has made this call from my house. I am not paying it.

Called (800)373-3496 to dispute a bill that they sent me for $480.  Very rude female who hung up on me twice.  Third time I was put on with "Sean" who stated "I'm an investigator".  When I pressed for information on "what type of investigator" he switched to "why don't you pay your bill?".  IT'S NOT MY BILL AND NO ONE MADE THOSE CALLS FROM MY HOME!!!

Received bill for this number and another on this list.  It says this number was for six minutes at 34.65.

Recieved a bill for a 7 minute call for $51.54 made Nov 9th-07.  I didn't make that call.  Billed by Ameritel servicesout of Calabasas Ca.  On the bill is a !-800-373-3496 number if I have questions--but it never answers.  Thanks
