I have a 40 dollar charge from this number on my bill. I would like it dropped

I have a 85.35 doallar charge from this phone number on my bill, Iwould like it dropped from  my  account , give me credit for this amount.

my phone bill is over 300 dollars because either someone is making calls to this number or they are calling here. I just wanna know what this number is

It is June 15, 2010 and I too was just charged $32.91 for a MCI personal call to this number. It showed up on our Frontier phone bill as a call placed from our number at 12:29am on May 7, 2010. We did not call the number and I did have Frontier remove the charges and block any future 900 calls. This is definitely pretty strange!

I just got the exact same thing and wondering how to proceed.
$175.oo worth of charges from MCI (which we don't carry) at a time when no one was at the house.

I will dispute it of course, but wondering what to do?

Same as everyone else. Calls made on April 19th 2009. Funny thing is we were all in Church so I guess I need to have a conversation with my dogs about using the phone. Verizon wanted to negotiate and even offered me $15.00 towards the 34.03 bill from MCI which I explained why would I pay any amount when first I requested phone service a month prior that I requested that 900/976/700 calls be blocked as well as collect charges and third party billing. They can't seem to find record of that. So they bounced the bill back to MCI to dispute directly. Will keep you advise if they try to collect direct.

I got the same charge for $222.49. I think this is a phone scam. We should contact FCC (Federal Communication Comissioner).

while we were staying there.

I was billed for 3 calls to 900=988-8888.  For a amount of $82.77+tax $4.97 ttl $87.74.  I did not call this number nor do I know what it is.  On my bill it says mci personals

Not sure, but it reads as 'PERSONALS' on my bill, and it is charging $98+ before taxes for a 22 minute call. If anyone knows what this is, the help would be appreciated. Of course, I'm disputing the charge.
