Just received a call from this number & woman VERY RUDELY stated she is from Fedex have 3 pkgs waiting to be delivered -- I gave her my work address and she thanked me and hung up. I called back and there was a (ring no answer) RNA  to inquire about the packages.  I guess it may have in fact been Fedex but they would have notified our company if we had pkgs to be delivered---  Received this type of call many months ago.  What a waste of time...

I re-routed my FedEx package to be held at at their local shipping center. Lady called me from this number to let me know it would be there after 6:30PM the same day.

Someone from Florida is sending me a packagd...I do not know anyone in Florida.

These calls are a telemarketing call center. they have all your info but obviously before they try to impose themselves as any other organization or before they try to bill you for something you didn't purchase they want to make sure all the info is correct. The reason for this is so that if you refute it in anyway after they have done such a thing they have as much personal info that the only way to get that would have had to have been from you directly.
  On top of all that, your info is being sold. If they can confirm or have you believe that they are whom they say they are representing at that time, they turn around and sell your information for as little as 2 cents a name for minimum info and unverified, to as much as $10 a name verified, and up to $45 a name for indepth profile including cc info ss info and much more. I only know this because while thinking i was working for a legit firm for 3 years, this is what i did on a daily basis. I have reported those whom i know are involved to the proper authorities and my complete involvement and am working to put a stop to these operations around the area where i live.

It doesn't matter who they say they are. If they are verifying info via email or the phone....Hang up and or record the call for a possible future use if they are caught. Contact Fedex and ask them if that is one of their common practices to make calls at such an hour and to verify that info via the phone.

Btw: If you have used a CC and shipment was made and payment received, there is no need to update. REMEMBER...you're the only one that needs to inform them when you are sending a package if the info they have previously is accurate or not. FEDEX will not call you to verify that.

I am totally sorry for any wrong i may have done to people in the past...but i will dam will do my best to put a stop to anyone who tries to continue to do it!!

They called me to pick up a package. I live in a gated comunity and they do not have access to the place. They attempted several times and finaly they keep the package and call to pick up.

FEDEX advertising their new Shock Detector for fragile packages !....I told them I buy the same stuff at Uline for just $1 buck !

They have also been calling me and they leave no message. I wish they would stop calling

Three calls from 901.263.9400. When I answered, it sounded like someone was trying to send a fax.  When I called back there was no response.  From the other comments the caller is identified as Fed Ex.  These calls are coming to my cell phone which is a number with very limited distribution.  Sounds like fraud trying to gather information.

We received a call this afternoon for this number 901-263-9400 and the name was Fed Ex.  Called the number back and it rang several times with no pick up.

This number has been calling for the past 2 days. They won't stop. When answer it just beeps.

Three different 901 numbers called me today w/in last 2 hrs.  No messages only beeps...might be aliens?

I received a call from 9012639400 and the person said they were from Fedex, and she wanted the last 4 digits of my credit card # ! .. I told her to get lost ... and I hung up.

Repeated calls from 901 263-9400 and 901 922 7000.
When answered, a women identified herself as fedex rep updating fedex account information, citing name,address, and phone#. possibly either lifted the information from a fedex package during transit or from improperly discarded package label, or possibly a security leak from the fedex database.

Received 2 calls today from 901-263-9400.  No answer when recalled

Number keeps calling many times during the day. Never anyone there.

I got the same phone call to Los Angeles Area. Business number (626) area code. I answered but I heared someone shut the phone as soon as I said hello.

I think it is a telemarketing company who is trying to verify the valid phone number so they can sell it. My caller ID shows FEDERAL EXPRESS.

I received the calls from the same exact number. However, there are short beeping sounds as soon as I pick up the phone.

Same with other people, no one answers when I call back this number.

I have already received several calls from this number within the last 20 minutes or so.

The 901-263-9400 number is the outgoing fax. I'd suggest reporting it to the 800GOFEDEX customer support and ask a rep to block your number from the faxes. As it's an automated system if the number the actual recipient provided is wrong or there is a typo upon entry then these calls can go to unintended recipients.

Yesterday, I received calls from the same two numbers.  Coincidentally (or not), I woke up this morning to find two very large fraudulent charges (over $1000 each) on my credit card.
