This is American Home Shield home warranty company.  We have a policy with them and have been very happy with all work done.  This call was about our home in Dallas, while we are living in Ohio.

Yes American Home Shield is Legit. The prices you stated are almost spot on to the real price. You can establish what you want covered and what you don't. No I am not a rep from AHS just a user. AC went out and with it being so old they are replacing it with a new unit. 5th call on the AC in 4 years. Go to their website and read what they offer.

American Home Shield. What a poor company. A/C unit died (in Texas) when 100+ degrees outside. Called on Saturday morning to place service call. House over 90+ degrees.  Called again Sunday to see if they had anyone scheduled to come out. I was informed they had no one in my area to service my unit. Called Monday morning still no one to service my unit. Finally got a call from vendor on late Tuesday to schedule for an inspection.  I called someone and paid out of pocket to have my unit fixed and running Monday late.

Terrible service.

Recd call from this number on my cell phone.  Only a very few close friends have my cell phone number.  They didn't leave a message.  Have no idea who this is.  How did the get my phone number.

I've received a call from this number, as well as three others in the past hour all asking for someone by the name of Jerry. They did not state their nature, only that they seek Jerry. Four calls within one hour all seeking Jerry, yet all calls came from different numbers with different area codes.

I have used American home Sheild, they are pretty good!

A woman called at 9:40 AM MST speaking very quickly saying she was from American Home Shielld. I told her that I was having trouble understandng her.  She then said that it must be a wrong number. "It happens a lot"

I got a call on my cell while at work and could not pick up.  They did not leave a message.  Some posters said it is American Home Shield.  I have not had any work done on my home nor do I own it so I should not be getting called at all.

I can tell you DO NOT buy  They come up with false reasons to deny claims.  If you don't agree they send another person to come up with another false reason not to pay and charge you a service call again.  $120 later sorry not covered can't speak to a supervisor.

I also have received a call from American Home Shield.  I have recently gotten a lot of calls on my cell phone from companies saying that someone filled out a form on the Internet looking for information.  Something that I have NOT done.  I'd like to know how to stop these calls.  I have already registered my cell phone under the "Do Not Call" list.

I just received a call from American Home Shield  (901-266-7600) asking for Rose Mello; told her that was a wrong number they have;the rep. insisted on confirming the last name,asking if I live on the address given to them.... What is this?.... What part of "WRONG NUMBER" was not understood???????????

They called me too.  I was fortunate and it was not early in the morning, but they asked to speak with Ms. McCain. When I told them I was not Ms. McCain, they said this is not where Angelica is?  I told them no, and they hung up.  It was odd - especially after reading the other posts indicating the number came from American Home Shield.  It seems as though they may have employees using their work phones for personal calls.

Call from 901 266 7600 on Sunday morning 11AM Aug 23, 2009. I use to live in New Jersey, that 901 is a Jersey south area code. I don't even live in that state. Live message with no information, did not take call, they just left message.
Caller ID listed as Sevice Master C, I'm on a don't call list, really tired of these market people waking me up, I work nights.

I have had AHS on 2 different homes, 1 in LA and one in TX. They have treated me fairly and been reputable. Replaced an A/C cost to me was $800, actual cost would have been $3500 for the unit we needed. Saved a bundle and had no hassles. The only thing is you must choose a company contracted through them, but even that isn't hard as they offer a number of local choices to do various work.

I have used American Home Shield (AHS) for 20+ years.  They are a reputable company.  I can't say I have always been thrilled with their policies, but they are, on balance, a fair and respectable enterprise.  I don't know why they would call someone at strange hours or anything else weird.  I would and do recommend them to my friends regularly.

I received a call about 9:30 pm 6/2/09 from 901-266-7600. I called the number back and they are with Terminix. I filled out an online info sheet for Terminix to call me to set up a FREE estimate.  This number belongs to them or is afilliated with them.  Rich

They actually called me at work saying they are a JD Edwards provider.  Appears to be a telemarketer who works for many companies.  Sounds like they outsource to India also.  Great more jobs leaving America.
