I never made such a transaction to my credit card with this company or phone number.  The account that was charged for the amount of 9.69 has been dormant
for years. I have no idea how they got this account number. I have filed a dispute with the credit card company.

I do not show ever receiving a phone call, but there is a $9.69 charge on my credit card statement from mobilethemescentral.com with a number of 901-313-4566.  I have no record of ever being in contact with this company, or how they would have gotten my credit card information.

Just got off the phone with the bank... same thing happened here, when i called the number 901-313-4566 the number was disconnected.  Much like most of you they got me on 17 Aug and the amount was $9.69.  Bizarre

I did not receive a call.Notice a charge on my bank statement for $9.69.I could not bring up the site.Did find out it is in Covington TN land line phone.I have called serval times got there answering machine.telling you to go to there web site for help,all operators busy or not availabe.

I noticed it showed up on my recent CitiCard statement.  Called the credit card company and had it removed.  I was going to ignore till I did a quick googling, and thanks for those who wrote in this forum.

Yes, it looks like we all got scammed the same amount. I don't know how they were able to get my info. Any of you have Paypal with the account that was fradulently charged? Any of you sign up with LIVE? I signed up Live and never made a purchase. However my info is on PAYPAL?

I just got the $9.69 charge on my wachovia check card.  Going to dispute it with my bank, but really concerned. How did they get my check card #?? And I never received a call either.  Is anybody doing anything about this??

BIG SCAM!! Did some research.... "mobilethemescentral", as most of you know, no web site exsists. Go to register.com, type in "mobile........", scroll down and click the WHOIS button, you will get info as to the registrant, registered through, administrative contact, technical contact. I would contact "domainsbyproxy.com", see what they could tell you. Found the phone number to be landline in the town squre in Covington, TN, ironic that it has a Mephis(or suburb of) prefix. Phone number issued by US LEC of Tennessee. Found number to be connected using Lucent/AT&T 5ESS switch which can handle multiple lines, think it acts as sort of scanner, not sure how it handles or works, but cannot remember where I found the information for this switch, but did type the switch model in google and found some info as well as an "artofhacking" site that gave some revealing info as to some things to be aware of using this switch(for the hacker). I talked with local police department for advice about contacting federal internet crime, was told that they are probably aware of the scam? School started and personally do not have the time to do further research on this matter.

$9.69 here too.  It was on my Citi CC.  They played it smart by "charging" you a small amount and, hopefully, got buried in your long statement.

I ALSO GOT THIS CHARGE OF $9.69 ON MY BANK OF AMERICA CARD. THEY REMOVED BUT COULD TELL ME HOW OR WHO CHARGED THIS. THIS WAS CHARGED ON 8/7/08.

With a little detective work I found out the same exact thing.  and it's the same amount, $9.69.
I guess I need to report it to my credit card company.
Glad I was vigilant and didn't just pay it.

I just noticed a charge on my acct too. It was charged on 8/10. Total scam.

Didnt even get a call. They wiped out my checking acct and threw me into overdraft. Definitely going to fight this one
