No message just hangup.

same thing has happened to me.... very aggravating!!!

This has been happening to me for the past year. Its will stop for a few months then start up again. They had used another phone number. When looking up that number there was some good information on there that this was a huge scam. they stay to contact the FBI and better business bureau as well as check your credit report.

I get this message every Friday..4-5 calls in a row,same message,differentplayers all from India,all try to threaten.I have filed complaints with the FCC.my state's attorney general,the FBI and my local police.They can't catch these guys because they are out of the country and spoofing people's cell phones.Ignore them,they are a scam,they are trying to extort money from you by scaring you.I even laugh and call them names now and they hang up on me.By the way these calls have been occuring since Jan..Always,The threat of being arrested the next day and oh they even call family,friends and your employer so give them all a heads up.My co workers hear the Indian or middle eastern accent and they tell them I don't work here anymore.My friends laugh at them.I have oneof those big horns that they play at basketball games and one time called them back and blue the horn and hung up so they would call me back and every time they did I blew the horn.The only thing about this group of scammers is that they are very annoying but otherwise a joke.

Same thing happen to me.

I received a call from this number.  The man was claiming to be "Officer Frank Martin" with the Bureau of Criminal Investigation.  Said there was a case filed against my SS#.  They knew my ss#, name, address, bank account information, address, work phone number, cell phone number, ect.  After speaking with "Officer Martin", I was transfered to another "officer" who was handeling my case.  Neither man spoke clear english.  Clearly they were not american's, and were very very hard to understand.  They wanted me to send them money to clear my case, and stop charges being filed against me.
