Received a text message on my cell phone stating "Card Member Services Alert: Your CARD starting with 4706 has been DEACTIVATED. Please contact us at 901-347-0224 to REACTIVATE your card.

got the same thing twice on jan.5,in the evening, except mine showed the CARD starting with (4607). it came across in a TEXT MESSAGE.

my husband recvd the same thing on his phone as a text 3 days ago. We just ignored it. The crazy thing is Chase just called to say we had a fraudulent purchase on our card yesterday at a Rite Aid in NY. Has anyone called the number?

on another note, my suspicions are that these text messages are coming out of the Memphis, Tn. area and not just because of the area code but because these messages are similiar to what FIRST TENNESSEE BANK WILL SEND OUT WHEN THIS HAPPENS WITH YOUR ACCOUNT THAT YOU MIGHT HAVE WITH THEM. Ten will get you a hundred this is a scam by some employees or friends of those from "FIRST TENNESSEE BANK" in Memphis. I know because I had closed a savings and checking account back in August in Memphis and soon received my first TEXT MESSAGE but worded a little differently..
