Used the name of John Smith then Mark Brown. Threatened to send someone to my mailing address to slap me real hard when I refused to forward the info to my daughter.

They called here for my daughter under her maiden name. She's been married 4 years

Used the name MIke Anderson today.

Unfortunately these folks are usually not even in the U.S. The number that comes up on your phone is a ghost number which is usually linked through a server, much like a Google voice number. However for a little fun if they are doing it using a cell phone (which they usually do) then you can send them a text bomb. Text bomb apps are usually free, and if you send them about 20,000 text messages at one time with the push of a button it tends to ruin their day. It overloads their phone with texts, and prevents them from making more calls

Indian low lifes.  Do not answer.  A total SCAM.  They say they are federal agents working for Memphis, TN. Is there anyway to put this guys behind bars. Thank You.

I've been getting those same calls. telling me to buy a green dot bank scratch card and put the money on it

This guy is clearly not Indian.  I have an Indian name and he could not say it right.  Even from the rest of the message, it is clear that he is not Indian.  He certainly has an accent and it sounds more like a Carribean accent.

They call multiple times a day- to my work number!!! I just pick up and hang up. Seriously called 9 times in one hour today.....I wish I knew how to block on a landline.

Yes, they just called me, said they'll come to my home an/or work to arrest me.  

I just got a call at work from 901-347-4002 said he was a Federal Officer and said the same thing to me as well. How did he get my SS#? That really bothers me! Not calling back him back either. I am also going to the police dept to notify them of this call.

I got a call at my job from a man who said hs name is Brandon Walker  who said he was a Federal Officer  and said the same message that everyone else got. I didn't call him back because I know it is a scam.  I work for the courts and will turn the number over to the Prosecutor's office tomorrow morning.  He had my social security number and that bothers me.  I am also going to go to the police department today and notify them of the call.

Same type of call and in the end he said if I ignore it "only God can helpp me" ~ really!!??

This guy called me today around 330 and said I had a warrant but I was smart because before I googled this number I read this sites post...ITS A SCAM DONT FALL FOR IT IT AINT REAL...CALL YOUR LOCAL LAW AGENCY AND REPORT IT AND THEYLL TELL YOU THEY WONT CALL TO SAY YOU HAVE A WARRANT..TRUST ME ANY SMART PERSON KNOWS THAT

Got calls on both my cell and office number from this number.  Called himself Steven Johnson and said he was from the Bureau of Investigation.  Told him I was not here (I like to pretend to be someone else with these jokers :) ) and took a message?  

I now make it a habit not to answer calls that do not have a 'valid/real name' associated with the caller ID telephone #. This one said VOICE NETWORK I and displayed its # as 901-347-4002 . It seems to be computer dialed # since it keeps redialing continuously if not picked up. They also switch the name in the name field to the telephone # . Like in this case the name field displays 9013474002  and in the tel # field it will show the number which is  901-347-4002. In the last two months I see that most Telemarketers or Scam artists do not display their actual name in the name field and they seem to call with different numbers within minutes of each other!   Answer is...block these numbers if they keep calling. If it was a valid call then I expect them to leave a message.

Please call the FTC at 1877-382-4357  or go to the FTC site to report these scams.  If everyone that received these calls would report them, maybe we can collectively bring them to justice.  Think about how many people they have and will scam and how much money they have collected and will continue to do so in the future if no one reports them.  Maybe the FTC will catch them but only with the help of everyone reporting them.  Also, call them using google voice so they don't have your number.  Call them hundreds of times and cuss them out or just hang up.  Make them pay for what they are doing.

Got a call from this guy posing as federal office JOHN SMITH. I warned him not to call me again

Got a call at MY WORK NUMBER saying and Officer, John Smith wanted to talk with me, told him I was at work, don't call this number again and took his name and number.  THIS IS A SCAM!!!  How did they find me at my job???

I got another call  from this number I recorded it.  telling   me I owe money. He was so nasty telling me that police come and arrest me in half hour.

I am so sick of getting these call SCAM SCAM SCAM.

call came from 901-347-4002 he said he was from the federal police department calling.  I ask what he wanted he just said he was from the federal police department in Memphis, TN. I told him I was recording his call thats when he said o.k o.k and hung up.  SCAM SCAM  He had an accent.  I am so sick of these scam calls.  I called back the number which said unavailable.  I am so angry getting these  scam calls.  What do they think us americans are that stupid to give them money. Nonsense

I also got a call from this ph#, guy said his name is John Smith.. heavy indian accent!! . I yelled at him to F***off  

Yeah, same thing. Guy named John Smith (with a thick Indian accent!) calls and leaves messages, stating they have a federal arrest warrant for me. I called him back and spoke with this lowlife and told him I was reporting him to the FTC and that I needed some information from him, like his job title, id number and work address. When he asked why I told him I was filling out a complaint form on the FTC website (which I was!) and needed the info. He admitted this was a scam and then hung up on me. I called him back multiple times (just to f*** with him like he has f****d with so many others) and told him I hope he likes American jails because that is where he is going.

Some guy with heavy Indian accent keep calling and threatening that FBI has a warrant against me and I should pay  money to him. It sometimes comes as"zeal web"  other time "brijesh1" I reported this to donotcall.gov and local law enforcement

Some guy called and said he is calling from the Federal Office of James Crossley and that he has a warrant against me. Wanted me to pay a penalty of $1500 before they come arrest me. SCAM! Be careful.

A***ole called me saying I have a non-bailable arrest warrant and he is from Federal Government .I did a *69 and got this number 901-347-4002.
