These people are notorious for contacting your office.  I understand that they are hired to do a job.  As a matter of fact, I do not fault them for this.  However, the approach that is used, i.e., calling my office and asking for me by my first name as though they know me personally.  This is unacceptable.  Unless I give somone permission to call me by my first name, it is unacceptable.  We are not friends, pals or buddies.  I definitely take exception to this. The next time they call, I hope to answer the phone and tell them to do not call me at my office.  I have read that once a collection agency is told in writing or verbally that your employer does not want these type of calls coming to the office, they are to immediately stop with the phone calls.

It appears as though these collection agents think they can get away with threatening tactics that will force a person into paying them.

The caller ID said the call was from Smooth Solutions and it turns out they are a collection agency.  They also call from 800-829-7750 and the caller ID says Out of Area.

That last message was suppose to be THREATENED  ME  NOT TREATED ME..  sorry guess I am still mad.  Oh forgot the good part They keep asking for someone other than me . Even though I identify myself when I answer my phone.

This number called 14 times in an hour and fourty minutes.  I decided to return the favor and called them 14 times every two minutes.. You know they didn't like it  go figure.  By the way they treatened me as well I told them to bring it on I would love to meet them in court.  Then she said she was going to call the local police and tell them there was something wrong with me.. (other than I was pissed that they kept calling) I told her it was a town of 1300  I knew all the police give it her best shot.  She hung up on me. They are out of Ten. and olive branch Mississippi. .  What a bad joke.  they also call under the number 8008297204

They are collectors. Caller ID came up as Smooth Solution

They also use the number 8008297750. They are very rude and don't tell you who they are. Very secretive and very fishy.
