I just got a call from Tennessee Bureau of Identification too. Funny how these Tennessee officials have a strong Indian accent but no southern accent. My calls came from 916-395-0000 but I was told their number is 901-878-3229, which is a number in Grand Junction, TN. "Officer Maria Watson", Left me Voice mail messages and advised me there was a  fraud case pending against my SSN# . Also stated that I needed to call them before I got dragged down to the court house and my Manager at work would be called.
Everything I have found to date shows this is a scam and I will report to the FBI and other reporting agency that will take a fraud complaint.

These people are currently calling from 801-935-9960 claiming the same nonsense. What I found funny was when I called the number back and it goes to a Magic Jack voicemail. LMAO!!! I didnt know the federal goverment endorsed as seen on tv products. Get real, morons, you think us americans are falling for it?

So how do they get our information. I want them to stop calling me as well and is there anything we can do to stop these freaking foreigners. That's whats wrong with America, we have to be poltiical correct. Having other foreigners coming into our state and now look what there doing to us. Scamming us out of our hard earn american dollors. Today I got a call from 402-982-0851 but could't attend...they left a voice message that the very second you receive this message, they want me or my attorney of records to return the call. The issue is extremely time sensitive and they're about the legal matter on my name. He told his name Robert Jones calling from the Department of BCI. It's the Bureau Of Criminal Identification and the hot line to his department is 901-457-1810 and extension number is 701. Don't try to disregard this message. Attend the call. Now if he doesn't here from me or from the attorney either, the only thing he can do is wish me a good luck. As the situation unfolds on me. Call him back. Goodbye. "

I just received a call on my mobile number from Officer Nielson- he says he was calling from the Bureau of Criminal ??  and he left his number 910-213-8922 - he also indicated I am listed as a suspect in a serious criminal complaint and I would have to call him back because it can affect my JOB or HOME????
what alarmed me, is that he mentioned my ENTIRE SSN!  does anyone have any suggestions on what I should do???

A guy called me from (901) 290 7208 and also from (615) 671-9943 heavy accent claming his name was officer kevin smith stated my last four digits of my ssn he claimed he was with the bureau of criminal identification! and said there was a serious legal case file against my name and my social security number!

Call the Federal Trade commision and report it. that is the only way they can be caught

I received a call from Victor at 901-457-1810 he said that i was going to jail and the sheriff was coming to pick me up i explained to himthat better happen and hung up he called me 34 times after that to tell me he likes me wants to kiss me and alot of sexual inuendos towards me.  i called back to talk to the supervisor and he hung up on me.  Bogus company!!!!

I am an attorney and these people called my client.  I contacted them and they told me they were a state agency for the State of Tennessee, Bureau of Criminal Identification.  I asked for address and they gave me their "headquarters' address, which was the State of Utah's Bureau of Criminal Identification.  When I pointed out that a State of Tennessee Agency would not be "headquartered in Utah" (could they be any dumber), they hung up.  I have reported them to the real State of Utah Bureau of Identification and they are now conducting an investigation.

I had just received a call from "Officer Maria Watson" from this number stating she was from the Bureau of Criminal Identification and she had a 'legal fees file' against one of my best friends. She also said I was listed as the reference # and that I should call back immediately, as it is a 'time sensitive' matter. The woman had a very thick Indian accent and had a hard time enunciating. My message cut off the ext. #, not that I'd call them anyway. I googled that dept. and they don't have one for the state I'm in, plus if my friend was in any trouble, she would've called me straight away. This just screams scam. When I hear 901 whatever it sounds like a chatline of some sort. These people are kinda dumb, I hope they catch them soon.

I got a message frmo Victor to call back the 901-457-1810, when I called back I spoke with a guy who said hs name was Ethan Bishop.  They are claiming to be collecting for CashNet USA.  I contacted CashNet USA directly and they have never heard of these people.  Do not give them any info.  Hang up on them.  They are breaking credit and collection laws by not giving you their company info, the people they represent, and for calling you derogatory names.

this number has called my house and my work and my father, my father told him not to call and the man became very rude to him, my father hung up on him and he called back saying you hung up on me, my father told him not to call him no more and hung up, the man then tried to call my father several more times but my father did not answer the phone. it is against the law in the state of texas not to tell someone if it is a debt collection call, he left a message on my answer machine and from what i can understand of him says the samething. same number and ext 5001.

On 05-04-10 at about 10:54 a.m. an a man claiming to be Officer Anthony Nelson called me at my work number. He has been told many times not to call me. This man also said that his ext. # was 5001

"Deon Bishop, legal supervisor" told me that there was a case filed under my SSN with their government agency & that officers would be coming to my employer and/or mailing address. Deon then read off some email address like that was my mailing address. DUH! I hung up the phone & he called right back. "Did you just hang up on me?" I told him yes, get the hint and he goes into "Well I just talked to your manager and you're going to lose your job now". Funny thing is that he couldn't tell me the name of my "manager" that he talked to or if it was male or female. What an idiot!
Seriously though, if you get these calls, file complaints. You can do it online at www.ftc.gov. I filed one before & a couple months later got a call from NY attorney generals office about one of these companies that called me before & they needed my affidavit because they filed charges on this company. Maybe if that type of thing happens enough, these idiots will realize it & leave us alone.

They gave me the same song and dance and call back number lol.  I called my local FBI and gave them a description of the harassment and they told me to report a claim on www.ic3.gov, which I did.  Next time they call I will tell them I called the FBI and reported a claim on this website and hopefully they will stop harassing me and my family.

I also received a call from a rude foreign dude and he said the police were listening to the call and that I owed money for a payday loan which is a crock of s***. I have never had a payday loan. They called my employer and left a message saying it was a legal emergency. They knew the last four digits of my bank acct, last 4 of my ss number, email address, home address. He wanted me to pay almost $600 dollars and said they would send the information to my local courthouse. I told him to go ahead because I dont owe s***. He said that I would receive a certified letter in the mail within a week.

My boyfriend just got a message for me to call that number because there is a pending law suit against me which is soooo unreal.It was a chinese woman speaking.

Received a call from rude foreign man stating that i owed money or a payday loan and that he would send cops to my door to drag me to court if i didn't pay it.
