People all you have to do is write a cease and desist letter and they will STOP calling you. ARS is a company that does not want anymore law suits, they will stop the second they get the letter. Make sure you send the letter certified mail. Check the laws in your state. There are a lot of laws that protect us as consumers. If they are calling asking for a person who is not you (and you know who the person is) tell them that you want your number off the list and give them the information of the person they are looking for. Simple, they will leave you alone and call the person that owes them the money. Honestly at times I feel bad for the people with a job like theirs, they have to put food on their tables too, they're just doing what they get paid to do. If they don't disrespect you on the phone then, you have nothing to complain about. If you owe a company money (thousands) then it is their right to want to get their money. If I had a friend who owed me even $100.00 you betcha I would be calling them. Thats just my 2 cents. I was able to arrange something the right way with ARS and other companies. I made HUGE financial mistakes in my early 20's. And I am now finally stepping up to the plate and paying for what I owe.
