I also received a text from this number.
The text came thru at roughly 6pm MT.
It read (exactly):  
                          hola Matt...
I replied:
                Hey.  Who's this?
That was it...  I've not heard any more from them.  
Its entirely irrelevant, but In the sake of sharing stories and maybe some humor:
I am very lucky it stopped there and gave me the time to become curious enough to run a web search.
You see, I was just so sure that it was the number of a friend I made in Memphis a few years ago. Haha! Oh man, we've had so much fun staying in touch and being "vacation pals".  But just recently, I lost her number and figured I might' ve offended her w/ the "whos this" reply.  So, you see, if you guys hadn't made this page, I'd have fell right into whatever this scam is! Whoa boy! Close call!
So, Thanks guys!  Haha. I swear I'm not usually that gullible, but I would've been toast!

Got a text message saying hi stephen

I got the same message...

Got a text saying "hey Jeffrey" and nothing else when I asked who it was. Only place I have my full name is Facebook and my phone number is set so only friends can see it. This is a bit odd.

same here, they said "hola christina" and then never answered when i asked who they were.

Same as everyone else.  Got a text saying "Hey Andrew"
Asked who it was, no response.

got a text saying hi ryan, nothing else

Got a TXT saying "hey Sean" and nothing else. When I replied asking who this was, I got back the messages "Omg ... mi celly's gong to die !!!" "Sorry ... mi fone's gonna die ;(" and "add me to Y! mesngr textiegirl90". I got this on two different phone numbers, so I think they have data mined or trolled these numbers from some social media where they are listed. Obviously from reading the posts above they are very simmilar and this can safely be written off as a scammer / spammer.

I also just got a message from this number saying "hola David" and i did add them on yahoo messenger and i never got a reply back this is weird I think this needs to be looked in to cause some how or another we all have something in common or how would this person have our name and phone numbers.

Just received a text from this number : "hola lacey"
I asked who it was, they stated for me to add them on yahoo messanger, to find out who it was...
Texiewoman560 is the name they told me to add. I told em I didn't use that, nor would I add someone I didn't know to anything. Probably some kinda scam! I also called this number it went to a recored deal saying it was a 2nd number for texting

just got a text...they knew my name...I don't like it!

sent message to cell phone saying"hola clayton" weerd they know my name

Sent text with my name in it "hey brian..." Kinda creepy
