I just started getting these call's too! I just googled them and turns out they were fined over $1 million in Boston for filing fake w/c claims. They wanted to verify my info for a claim that was filled at CVS (I don't shop there) and I didn't file a w/c claim. They would not give me specific info unless I divulged personal info to them first (which I didn't)! I have been reading posts here that seem to be from employees who claim they are just helping us, but I highly recommend to anyone reading this to file a complaint with your state attorney general's office if you start getting these call's as well as calling your employer too. In addition file with your credit score companies just in case!

I recently file a Workers Comp claim and got a call from this number. I don't answer calls if I don't know the caller. No message was left.

Oh yeah, that is the same...except it's totally not. You know exactly what I mean by "job." And people having REAL "jobs" to make a living. And again, I don't work for any company that tricks people out of money. You're not worth me telling you what I actually do, but I'm glad you know everything about everything. And I hope to someday have standards for what classifies a "disgusting human being" that will measure up to yours, oh wonderful, flawless, perfect one.
yeah right 2014-02-28 18:58:33 Unknown
So if I gave you a gun and told you to rob gas stations for pay, you're just doing a "job"?
Same thing here, except your scammer overlords give you a phone and tell you to trick the victims on the other end out of money. What a disgusting excuse for human beings you and they are.
Rachel 2014-02-28 18:53:30 Unknown
Haha, it's funny how quick you are to assume I'm someone I'm not. And those people are doing what they're told to do. Just the same with any other basic position. They're given scripts, they're given rules and regulations to follow. That doesn't mean the person agrees with them. Every company is like this. By the way...do some research on ostriches before you go posting willy nilly about things they don't actually do.

Are you Rachel from Member Card Services? Maybe you should read the hundreds of posts here talking about DCA who clearly violate the FDCPA and FCRA with every single call they make. And you wonder why people don't like DCA's Are you an ostrich with your head in the sand?
Rachel 2014-02-28 15:26:46 Unknown
Just because they work for a company you don't like, doesn't mean they don't have a real job. They're just trying to make a living. This isn't the place to personally attack another individual because of where they work. Maybe you should get a life.

I received a phone call-I am the credentialer for a medical practice-asking me to verify a docs DEA number. He stated that they work with Walgreens. I told him that I did not feel comfortable providing that information to a third party, but that I had no problem calling the pharmacy and speaking with the pharmacist. He stated that he would call the pharmacy. There is no way I am providing a DEA number to a random person-just over all not a good idea.

I work with a provider and they called asking me to verify a docs DEA number. They stated that they work with Walgreens. I work in provider credentialing and contacting me direct is odd. I informed him that I would provide the information to the pharmacist directly, but not to a random person on the phone.

How can you post information like this regarding an employer... you are joke and I am glad you don't work for us anymore!
Comp Paperwork 2013-06-24 18:10:00 Unknown
This is for Stone River, if they are calling you, it has to do with billing for a work comp claim you, or your company is involved in. Do Not Call registry, does not apply, they get your number from the hospital to bill for the account. It's not spam, it's not telemarketing. They do billing for Pharmacies.

This is a legit company but they suck to work for them. Management is unfair. Im glad i dont work there any more nor should anyone. I would rather work at mcdonalds than there.

I do not answer when I do not recognize number and or name
Na name 2013-04-05 17:29:46 Unknown
maybe everyone should call their number and tie up their phone lines. Maybe they would get the message not to call patients, call the doctors, hospitals, etc. Dont give them info over the phone, it could be used against you. Insurance companies tell their customers all of the time like auto accicents. Let them deal with comp. not us.

Yes, they asked about worker's comp, but it seems strange that they want all this private information but don't want to send a medical release.
Anon 2012-10-22 21:04:01 Unknown
I work there and it is not a scam. We are looking out for YOU guys. If your workers comp doesn't want to pay, we make them by using the law against them. If we have to call you, it is because they are ignoring us and we need more information on them so we can try to contact them again. If we were a scam, you wouldn't have your meds when you get hurt.

Just got a call from 901-681-9080. They said they were a 3rd party entity looking to verify a prescription written for a workers comp patient. We have not seen this patient nor do we deal with worker's comp cases, we're a dental office. By the way, the prescriptions were for vicodin and muscle relaxers... She couldn't give give me any details about the prescription, like was it called in or faxed? I asked her to please investigate, as it was bogus.

This company has now called my home 7 times in the past 4 hours, I let it go to voicemail as it say "Stone River" (901) 681-9080, but when you answer or let it go to voicemail there is just a beep like a fax machine. It's really creepy and obnoxious. I don't shop at CVS or Walmart and don't know anyone with a workers comp claim, so I have no idea why they are calling except that it's a scam fishing for something.

This number belongs to stone river, a company who works for pharmacies that calls people as a last resort. When you get meds from cvs walmart or whoever for a w/c claim you give the pharmacy your information and when you don't give the pharmacy all of your info stone river will call your doctor then your employer then you. If you don't give them what they want they will get it from someone else so you can get your refills of oxycontins -phuckhead

The number is for Third Party Solutions. They manage prescription drug programs for insurance companies who deal with Workers' Compensation. I deal with them all the time, it's probably just a misdialing on the part of the reps. I can't imagine them making cold calls as they are contracted with major insurance companies.
roger 2011-06-06 21:06:14 Unknown
we received an unsolicited sales call from them. three seconds after we hung up on them they called right back. we let our answering machine take the call but disconnected them before they could cuss us out for hanging up on them.
Tracy 2011-06-06 21:06:14 Unknown
They just hung up on me. Kinda strange.
Angie 2011-06-06 21:06:14 Unknown
we are a provider and they were calling to get the insurance carrier information from us on a patient, weird, we suggested them to contact that patient and their answer was "I didn't even think about that" flags for me everywhere...
