Oct 5, 9am cst 901-751-5105 called and hung up before I could answer. I had gotten antother call the night before just a little before midnight from 228-751-9746 who called but also sent me a text "u did't answere". A few hours later I replied to the text "who is this?" about about  an hour later they replied " sorry wrong number." Then 901-751-5101 called at 9 am cst

I received a call on my AT&T cellphone on Sunday morning at 9:42 am from 901 751-5105.  The caller hung-up when I answered.  What are these bozo's up to?

Just called 20 minutes ago.  Only reason I answered is because i'm expecting a call from my mom (my b'day today).  No one at other end.  I traced this to CMC in Memphis TN.  I put their own fax number in a fictitious new account I set up, so their autodialer should tie up their fax machine for hours or days I hope.  The "new business owner" is Laura Welch in ZIP code 20500. 8-)

Answered and no one there 9:21am Sunday morning.  How do es one block this caller?

File a complaint with the FCC.  You can do it online, and it's very effective in stopping unwanted telemarketers.  They will let you list that bogus phone number.

901-751-5105 - I called the number and listened to the end of the call and followed a prompt to get another number 901-751-4892. Called this number and found out that it is accociated with a company called "E Peformax". From there I looked up their web site and found that it is a  Phillipine based company that provides customer service and/or BPO (Biz Processing Outsourcing) for other companies (aka Outsourcing). They claim to have fortune 500 accounts and that they can save money for US Companies by providing outsourcing.

I know they have called and hung up on me and apparantly on a lot of other callers on this board. Does'nt sound like very good customer service to me!

I answered, one second later was hung up on.  Heard no background noise.

Answered and they hung up.

They called 8:20PM this night Rang twice---answered--dead line. 901-751-5105

I know this article is old, but now I remember that's exactly what the flyer I got in the mail about a month ago said. I have already thrown it away, but I will be calling the number in the article at the bottom and hope it's still valid.

Just got a call from that number about 45 minutes ago. Didn't leave a msg on my machine. If the info from the 2nd user at the top is correct, SW Bell according to his research, I wonder if it's related to the info AT&T released a while back stating if I didn't call and remove myself from their list that I would be getting phone calls from their partners for advertisements. And I have not called AT&T or accessed the web site yet to remove myself. I've also been getting a few other strange calls too. I think I will find the number I need to call to remove myself from AT&T's advertising list.

So I'd suggest to find the piece of paper that you should have gotten in the mail about a month ago, and it had instructions to "OPT OUT" of their advertisements. I'm just assuming this call relates to the "OPT OUT" option I received a while back. If anyone here who doesn't have AT&T anything and is still getting this call, then maybe I'm wrong.

Called Sat evening 10/4

Saturday 4 PM, I answered on 3rd ring and they hung up. Cost me 75 cents to do a call trace and it gave this number: (901) 751-5105. The area code is from Tennessee. Why does anybody do stuff like this ?

Called about 10 mins ago for the 3rd time, each time i answered there wasn't a response from the caller so i hung up. How freaking annoying!!!!

Called just now (5:08 Mtn time).  Phone rang twice.  When I answered the caller hung up.  Googled Area Code 901 and found that it's in Tennessee.

Got a call at approx. 5:30 p.m. Picked up phone on fourth ring and was hung up on as soon as I said, "hello". Saw phone number on caller id and called back to hear, "leave a message" and then "You can't leave a message as this person's mailbox is full".

this number called and when i answered there was a dial tone on the other end.
