Keep getting calls, but no one talks to answering machine.

I keep getting calls from 901-785-0016.  Caller ID says, "St. Jude".  This freaks me out because I went through a near death health issue and prayed constantly to St. Jude.  Who is calling me??  They NEVER leave a message!

I got the 901-875-0016 call also and all the caller id had was the number and Tennessee.  If your ID said St Jude it would make sense in that the St Jude childrens hospital is allowed to and constantly does make calls for donations.  I give once a year to these charities.  Beware....charities that pay fund raisers based on pledges gotten on the phone by design have unethical workers that get frustrated after you don't answer and put you down for a pledge even though you didn't make one.  The 1st time this happens I suspend that charity for 1 year.  If it happens a 2nd time they get suspended from my kindness forever.  St Jude has not done this yet.  March of Dimes is gone for life.  Habitat for Humanity, American Red Cross have also done this.  If they do this to you they will send you a letter in the mail reminding you about the pledge you didn't make.  I guess older people can't remember and send them money.  I have referred these to my states attorney general but I guess its hard to come down on a charity so they never do anything about this shady practice.  I figure if they have money to pay these sleezy solisitors they don't need my money.

Received repeated calls from 901-785-0016. I finally called back and got a message . . . "Thank you for calling St. Jude Children's Reserach Hospital." Blurb about appreciating support, resulting in 94% survival rate, blah, blah, blah . . .  no child ever turned away because of family's inability to pay, blah, blah, blah."  After a pause, the message says, "If you would like to be removed from our calling list please press "1." Then, "Please enter the 10 digit phone number, beginning with the area code." (Entered phone #.) Message continues, "Thank you. This number will be removed from our list within 30 days."

EVERY evening for the past few months, I get a call from this number. Never leaves a message, and if I answer the person says nothing, then hangs up after a couple seconds. Weird. If it was a telemarketer, you'd think they'd say something.

Caller ID shows it's a call from St.Jude. They have called many times in the past, but I never answer. In fact I just pick up the headset and hang up on them so the phone won't keep ringing.

It is listed to a cell phone in TENNESSEE. I am getting annoyed. They call every day. When I call back, it says 'sorry St Judes can not help you right now.' When I answered, and said take me off the list, the guy said 'hello? hello?' and hung up, conveniently NOT taking me off the calling list.
Isn't there anything we can do?!

Every couple of days I get a call.  Caller ID says Tennessee.  When we pick up it hangs up.  No messages left.

Just got caller ID a few months ago.  Keep getting many calls from someone named Sean Burke at 901-785-0016.  Never leaves a msg.  Today my wife answered the phone on the second ring and heard the caller hang up.  I returned the call within 30 seconds and the msg. was "Cannot complete the number as dialed".   Reported this to my phone company.

Called ID said Tennessee. I did not pickup. No messsage left.

Caller ID = "St. Jude". They called, I did not answer, no message left. Damn telemarketers...!!

Someone keeps calling from this number and says they are from St Jude's.  This is impossible as the woman is rude and will not leave a message.  She says she is calling to thank us for our donation except we did not donate.  I think it is a scam.  They have called at least 10 times now and I am going to report it.
