Keeps calling here asking for bogus people then when we say that person doesn't exist, he will ask to sent to the person in charge of a certain department.  I have just started telling him I sending him to our Security department so they can direct his call.  Hoping that will put a stop to him calling here.

This person ("Jonathan") called our office asking for an employee with our company. He's posing as a FedEx employee now, and he's list-building. Like most trolls, he has a hard time speaking clearly and did not (or would not) pronounce his company's name clearly. Avoid.

correct on the list building and correct  - no one should ever answer "yes". it can  be recorded and used as an agreement for services or goods and you can be charged for such. even if you aren't actually agreeing to anything, they can and will send you to collections, i know, i worked for a company just like these before i was aware this type of junk business was being conducted.

never, EVER , confirm address, email or say yes.

These a***oles have called 8 times now onto our busy line.  This time I told the guy to either lose the number as we are on a 'do not call list' or they would be reported.  He just kept repeating that he would like to speak to one of the 8 employees his tele center had been phoning all day to us and that the person here with our company asked for this invitation.  I told him that this person did not as they called earlier in the day asking for me and I certainly didn't ask for any conference inviations.  The guy just kept repeating over and over "I want to talk to so and so, they asked for this invitiaton".  I said, "NO, I want to be transferred to your supervisor".  Unbeknownst to me,l while on the phone with this a***ole, another of our lines were tied up with another of these a***s in their office.  I finally told him, "I would transfer him to voicemail and he could talk to that", and he hung up.  This is absolutely ANNOYING.

the caller asked me to verify name information and mailing address information for the phone number he dialed. I asked him what company he worked for and he B2BContact.com. I did not answer "yes" to any of his questions. It's a scam to help this company build a list to sell.
