SCAM...Said she was from FedEx and that I had some package they were trying to deliver. I wasnt expecting a package so I asked for a tracking number, she hung up on me.

Another tip for everybody, DO NOT use these "Reverse Lookup" sites.  Typically they will charge you $1.00 for the lookup and then continue to drain your account to the tune of $20.00/month with no permission to do so.  I had to change my account due to one of the companies listed in the upper left corner of this page.  In fairness to this site, I did not get the information to use this reverse lookup service from here.  I had Googled it.

I got this call on my cell phone. No Message was left.

Received a call but no answer - added the number to my block list.

Call your service provider and have them block it.

I got a call from this number on 12/21 but did not answer it.  I'm in Oregon, could it be computer dialed? See Washington's message on the previous page.  Sounds like solid advice.

Missed call to this number - 901-896-2332. Do NOT return calls to this number. It's a scam. Basically trying to get your personal information by telling you that wou've won a contest or money. A female speaking spanish will ask for this information and place you on hold.... for a long time. Simple fix - do not answer the call or return a call to this number.

I received a call from this number last night at 8:03 PM EST.  I answered because I'm oncall for work.  My number is not attached to any personal accounts since it's my work cell.  Same scenario as mentioned above.  I didn't even realize the first sound was a cash register, but the message was in Spanish.  Happy Holidays!

Called me twice on cell phone and left no message

I just got a call and returned it (all circuits are busy).  I've turned off my network connections as I don't know anything about how the hacking thing works and I don't want any info to be transfered.

Can anyone tell me whether or not my data will be safe if I renew the connection to my wireless network?

That number called me yesterday at my T-Mobile cellphone at 1:43pm; I didn't answered it. When I got home I called it back and it was a wrong number. I looked in Wikipedia for the area code, that area code 901 is located mostly at Memphis, Tennessee.

Twice today.. I didn't answer it though... Not even going to call them back..

Got the call just now . Tried to dial it back no response .  I just made a big pruchase with my debit card im wondering if they picked up on it and are trying to tap into the account ,

Just received this call, picked it up and put myself on mute. I usually don't answer area codes that don't look familiar, but I chose to answer. I 1st noticed the sound of a cash register or some time, then that went silent for a brief second followed by a woman speaking in Spanish. I have no idea, but I read on here that it's a recording stating you won $$$. Now that makes sence, hence the cash register sound and then the message. Classic scam!

me too, sounds like spanish, but if it is, it's way too fast for me to understand. (not that I have a great grasp on the language yet)

I was just called by this number and I'm in Seattle. My mom's cell had a call from this number too, only about 20 minutes before I did...

I got a call from someone that sounded like a spanish woman.I waited for about 5 seconds to talk,after that i said "hello'.then she started talking in a foreign language. I then hung up.

Alright,it seems everyone has the same problem with this number. i have had this account for about a month now. i have read through random numbers i have looked up. and by everything else i belive it is an Iphone app. My friend has this app on his phone and as i recall you can play different things on the prank call. I remember one of them being something like this. But if you disagree,dont flame. Im 13.


p.s Has anyone else noticed that all this just started yesterday??

Yet another pre-recorded message in Spanish from the same mystery woman every time (it's sad that I recognize the voice). It starts out riddled with static, almost like she dropped her phone into a bag of crumpled up newspaper and then the message begins. I get the same message from different numbers at least once a month. It's really annoying!

Ditto in Seattle. Home number and cell called within an hour.

Just got the call when I was on the line with a client.  No voice mail as a result, but glad I found this site to learn more about what is clearly a scam.
