received a call from 902 126 4485 at 0700hrs.  No one there when I said hello. and then they hung up .

Two calls May 13, 2014 12:36pm.  No message left.

I've registered so many complaints with the Do Not Call Registry (which I signed up for as soon as it started), but I really wonder if they actually do anything.  I keep getting calls from numbers I've reported.  I just tried blocking this particular number (I do have a blocking feature with my landline carrier), and apparently this number "cannot be blocked at this time". Ridiculous.  What's the point of having a call block feature if you can't block any number you want?

Got the call, but ignored.

Scammers fishing for numbers

Definitely credit card scam.  They call me daily no matter how I handle their calls - i.e. being rude or hanging-up.  I've even tried dragging the calls out just to bug them but they keep calling me.

The card service scammers   WILL   "service" our credit cards,   BUT,   when they finish "servicing" them, they will have no available credit remaining!

the name and number are usually both fake, so don't get your hopes up.

they wouldn't be in business very long if a simple call to Telus could make them go away. (hint: they're probably operating from another country, where labour is cheap, and your local cops can't touch them.)

The callers are the drug-addicted "card services" scammers, who call us, pretending to be associated with our credit card companies, in an attempt to fool us, into giving them our credit card numbers, so they can rip us off. People that have given their card numbers to these junkies have suffered severe financial losses. Beware of these lowlifes, and warn others, before they are cheated!

scammer - robocall with some nonsensical babble about "last chance to settle accounts" and "economic stimulus", "press 9 to be transferred to a representative", yada, yada, yada...

answering machine took it - complete waste of electrons!

The caller today used the "F" word many times when I asked to be put on the do not call list for his company. He never identified his company, said I was an idiot for not wanting a lower credit card rate and said "F>>> You many times, then hung up. Note to the DNCL. Profanity is not suitable for a spammer.

They called today, I'm in Montréal.  My answering machine message is in French and English, they never leave messages. Too bad for them as I no longer answer any unidentified callers. I'm also on the DNC list, makes no difference.

Scumbags are still calling at lunch time of course.  I have a Panasonic home phone that blocks number.  This is a phishing scam.

Same thing for me,  they just hang up.  Calls are coming at least 6 times a day now.

Am in Toronto. Called today at noon. I immediately saw that it was a phony spoofed number and did not pick up. No caller ID and no msg. Looking at the previous posts was interested to see that they used this number in early 2013 and then stopped using it again until recently. They have also used phone numbers with area codes from BC, Quebec and Washington State.

Received a call from this number today.  Something about my final warning to reduce my credit card interest.  I stayed on the line and listened to the highly informative recording, and to my surprise after it finished playing there was some ringing.  Without pushing anything, I was directed to a live person who thanked me so much for calling him.  I don't know what illicit substance he's on that's making him believe that I called him, but I don't want him to share.  I hung up my phone, and will now await my next call with bated breath.  It will no doubt be about the fabulous cruise I've won for the 84925th time.

I'm not really sure why I have a land line.  This is all it's used for.

Just got a call  here in Mississauga,  My call block is full - I may have to look them over and maybe delete an old one and add this one.  Also got 4, count 'em 4 calls from DirectEnergy today 800-266-3939.  That was the first number I added to call block!

I missed a call from this number.  The voicemail was just dead air.
