This number is related to credit card fraud. Do not even answer the phone if this number is on your caller ID. They use the brief chit chat to verify minor information, which turns into credit card fraud.

Every time your phone rings it's not someone trying to scam you. This # actually does belong to Arrow Electronics.

They keep calling my cell phone 2 or 3 times a day. I don't answer because it would cost ME money. I have a strict policy to never answer calls from numbers I don't recognize anyway. I am not an Arrow Electronics customer nor have I ever been, and although I do live in Nova Scotia I am nowhere near Halifax. To me that says this is a scam because why would they be calling me if I am not someone they have done business with? This is so ridiculous, ever since I put my name and numbers on the Do Not Call List I have been getting 10 times as many of these calls ... what are those people doing because they sure aren't stopping these people from calling me repeatedly. The Do Not Call Registry is the biggest scam going in my opinion, I am starting to wonder if they sold my phone numbers to anyone who wants them...

Some guy called named Jonathon at this number has been calling my place of business. He won't leave a last name or a message. Just constantly wants people to call him back. Scammer.

Have called me twice, I don't answer and they don't leave a message. I don't know who they are.

Called again today and responded when I answered.
They said they were following up to see if I wanted product information related to a webcast I had watched several days ago about "Achieving High CRI with LEDs" sponsored by "LED Magazine" and
OSRAM.
I'm still curious why a legitimate sales person would hide there true caller ID.
Hiding ones identity or company affiliation sounds like a scam.

Caller ID showed "HALIFAX NS".
Not sure why I'd be getting a call from Arrow or any other distributor in NS.
I am an engineer but there has got to be lots of Arrow offices closer to TX.
When I answered on the 3 ring the other end hung up.
Perhaps they are calling just to listen to the answering machine greeting.
If the greeting has your name, they can call again, when you are there to answer,
and now they can ask for you by name.

They call, listen to my greeting on the answering machine and then hang up.
Several times each day.
AB 2011-06-06 21:06:17 Unknown
called 3 times within last 3 days. No message.
Dave 2011-06-06 21:06:17 Unknown
Shows up in Caller ID as Nova Scotia (the phone company is reponsible for this as it is international).
Called because I was signed up for a seminar they were co-sponsoring for a µP company.

I ordered some Ti stuff from Arrow electronics too.
I did not answer. I don't ever answer a 9xx number.
Could have been arrow but they have other ways to contact me.

Three calls at various morning hours 8AM to 12Noon. Never left a message. I have done business with Arrow Electronics in the past, so I guess it could be them.
erech 2011-06-06 21:06:17 Unknown
do not call back. they charge you .49 per minute but tell you 'it's not a 900 number, it's a 902 number.

A 'Phillip', calling from 'Arrow Electronics' (allegedly), called me and said he had a few questions to ask me as part of a consumer marketing survey. I told him I was busy. He then came out with a load of waffle, telling me I was obligated under U.K. law to co-operate with them or be fined. I told him that this is absolute and utter nonsense, and that I am not a fool nor do I like to be treated like one. He went quiet and then I asked to speak to his supervisor/manager. He became agitated and said the manager wasn't at the 'office'. I asked for a contact number for the manager so I could speak to him directly, and he point blank refused to give it to me. I told him, that under U.K. law, If I went to a legal representative, I'd get the relevant details anyway. 'Phillip' then told me that he would be contacting the law enforcement to complain about my non-compliance and then hung up. I tried to phone back, but received no answer and went straight through to voice mail.
These people are most obviously scammers. I have every belief that they are not 'Arrow Electronics' and are a group of scam-artists who try to illegally phish personal details from un-witting members of the public. They should be ignored and reported to the relevant representatives, as they serve nothing more than to cause nuisance and grief to innocent people.
I have reported them for calling me when they are not allowed, and all others should follow suit.

I JUST RETURNED THE CALL TO THEM, AND THEY JUST SAID 'HELLO' AND TOLD THEM, THEY WERE NOT ARROW ELECTRONICS AND WERE REPORTING THEM TO FCC AND ALSO THAT THEY ARE MISREPRESENTING ARROW ELECTRONICS...I AM GIVING ARROW ELECTRONICS A CALL AND LETTING THEM KNOW THAT THERE ARE THOSE WHO ARE MISPRESENTING THEMSELVES AS THIS COMPANY...AND THEIR RESPONSE: KISS MY A**!!!
SO GOES TO SHOW HOW THESE PEOPLE ARE DUBIOUS AND MISREPRESENTING THEMSELVES TO GET INFO \FOR WHICH THEY ARE BEING PAID...
ML 2011-06-06 21:06:17 Unknown
THEY SAID THEY WERE ARROW, AND CALLED BACK AND ONLY ANSWERS BY NAME, BUT DOES NOT RECOGNIZE AS ARROW ELECTRONICS...THEY ARE MARKETING COMPANY TRYING TO GET INFO...CALL ARROW ELECTRONICS. THEY DO NOT RECOGNIZE THIS PHONE # AND IS NOT THEM...
