I agree, the banks are actually legit surveys, but what gets me, is I am on the national do not call list and lately I get more calls than you can shake a stick at and most come up "unavailable" and if I do answer it...nothing happens, there is no one there, nothing.  THAT is F**King annoying,  once an a while there is an automation say "good bye" if you wait about 10 seconds.  It is that s*** that drives us crazy.

Got three calls from TD, here in Florida....they are expanding their scam. Then a fourth call came through calling themselves "Nova Scotia Justice Department". All four calls were Trapcall traced to 9999999999, a computerized call forwarding scam which hides the true number. The FBI's IC3.gov website has many of these calls on file. They are indeed traced back to other countries and are all scams. As for that idiot who calls himself lol@youpeople, you are right. He is either a totally uninformed computer troll with nothing better to do, or what's worse, he's been hit right in the gut by this website and is whining like a stuck pig. Keep posting your comments against these idiots. It really helps.

did anyone of you whiney idiots even bother looking up the company to which this # belongs to. it's called coresential. a research firm that does interviews on behalf of companies like TD Bank/Td Canada trust. they call to get feedback on branch visits, overall customer service, etc. their calls don't apply to the do not call list because do not call lists only pertain to tele-marketers, aka sales calls, which these are not.

if you have 2 brain cells to rub together you'd realise that companies like TD don't specialize in doing surveys so they hire research firms to do them on their behalf. your pathetic existance ain't so fragile that you can't simply answer your phone, listen for 20 seconds as to the purpose of the call, and if you don't want to participate, ask to be taken off the call list. instead of coming on these sites, bitching and moaning and speculating about a call you won't even answer because you're so dam paranoid and pathetic, ANSWER YOUR PHONE AND LISTEN TO THE PURPOSE OF THE CALL.

Just got called twice from this number... they asked to speak to my wife.  When I insisted for them to tell me what's it about, they hang up.

I reported it right away to TD Canada Trust.

We live in Bala, Ontario, roughly 200 miles north of Toronto in the 705 area code.  Today I received a call from 902-474-3090 for probably the ninth or tenth time in the last two years.  Once again, someone hung up at the other end as soon as I answered.  

I now know from this website that the call is coming from Toronto Dominion Canada Trust, which happens to be our bank.  Crank calls from our own bank!     Hello, TD Bank!!

Just recieved this call too. TD Bank on call display. Only answered because I have a car loan with them..but all my payments are up tp date. Answered anyway...but no voice on the other end. Wondering if my voice was not "senior citizenship" enough for them. If you get this number...do not sweat it...

I have had several annoying phone calls from that number the only info I can gather is that it is tied to the Alliant ph. network.

TD bank. call twice a day. no one there when you answer. Update, I called the bank to complain as this is the bank I use. They looked into it and called me back. It is definitely a fishing number and do not give them any information.

I have only discovered today that the mysterious call from the 902 area code is coming from my bank --  Toronto Dominion Bank.  My local branch is mystified that someone is calling on behalf of their parent bank from a 902 exchange, and hanging up every time we answer.  This has been going on for at least two years.  Hello, TD Bank!!

This is a fraud call, its not tdbank, they are pretending to call from the bank to get personal info.
The customer should report the scam to the Canadian Anti-Fraud Centre at 1 (888) 495-8501

get a call from this number every night for the last 10 days or so. Have never answered as I do not bank with TD. Really annoying especially since I live on the other side of the country (it's a Halifax number)

I get a call from this number EVERY NIGHT - when I pick up no-one is there. If I dial back, the number is not in service. And I have an unlisted number!

I get a call from this number 9024743090, everyday. no caller ID and no answer. Anoying I want this to stop!

Next time they call........ call them back and then conference in the Police fraud squad and the TD Canada trust bank's fraud department.

My experience is right now as I have been on the telephone with TD's customer service for over 26 minutes and they don't know anything about this number.

I emailed TD Bank and received a reply.  They said that the number calling is not a recognized TD number and recommended that I do not answer this call at all.  They also said that it was something called 'phishing'.

They are NOT TD Bank. They fake name display is a part of their scam to acquire your banking information. And then rob you of your hard earned money.
(Since you thought that you were talking to a TD Bank personnel you are more likely to give out your TD information.)

Go to your local TD branch in person and report this scam right away. I already did that to my local branch.

I have been getting multiple calls from this number for the past week. Enough is enough!

This is getting very annoying.  I am receiving a call every day from this number and no one answers or if it goes to voice mail they don't leave a message.  I am sick of this.  It has been going on for about 3 weeks now.  Oh speak of the devil, I just got my second call of the night, I said hello, no answer, I yelled hello, got some woman saying she was with TD Bank, I told her point blank, do not call this number anymore, I yelled at her that this has been going on for 3 weeks, and no one answers when I pick up and no one leaves a message.  She tried to appologize for the inconvenience, and I again repeated DO NOT call this number anymore.  And believe me, there was more than one F BOMB throughout the conversation.  What a pain in the A**.
